I have ordered at least 100 books from Amazon for my 4 year old Goddaughter. Most of them are Little Golden's. She loves them and now knows the alphabet and is learning to read. This is the same thing my parents did for me and the same thing I did for my 5 children. I recommend reading for small children until they learn to read themselves. ...Author Joyce Bishop Morris.

My daughter is collecting Little Golden Books for my granddaughter and I bought this one for her collection. It's a cute story with great classic illustrations. Good price on Amazon too.

Perfect story book for our "I can be independent" week at preschool. The children loved the story and we all talked about how it is good to try and do some things by ourselves but we can always ask someone for help. Good quality book too.
