Unlike the Fluke VPS420, this probe has the ability to adjust the compensation which is required for accurate results. The safety rating of 600V CAT III means it can be used safely within buildings on most common building power distribution systems. The cord is not as heavy duty as the VPS420, and the ground clamp is wimpy compared to the VPS420, but this probe offers adjustable compensation and a 200 MHz bandwidth rating. One star off for the wimpy ground clamp and lack of alligator clamp accessories like is shipped with the VPS420. I may purchase a heavier duty ground clamp.

If you need a probe with a bit longer tail, then this is what you need. Short probes are fine for HF, but this is only a 200 MHz scope.
