This pump does the job 12 volt DC can take water High and it decent volume but I've had smaller that have pushed as much as it with a lot less noise. This units noise and vibration is it downfall. It is noisy, seriously. If you can get around that then you're all good as it has sturdy connections and a decent gauge of wires. Mine has been on nonstop for about a month and a half directly in the Sun pumping unfiltered Rainwater with fish waste without a hiccup. I'm not saying that it's, it's best use case, but is work for me in that application. So in summation: tough little unit stands up well in totally exposed elements and if you don't mind it's incredibly loud noise it's two thumbs up and four stars because of the noise

Neither the directions or the pump are marked which outlet is inflow or outflow. Had to run the pump to find out before installation. Pump seems to operate ok. Had one time when it did not prime easily. Other than that, it was good.

You get what you pay for, and this is on the cheaper side. No adjustment for the pressure cutoff leaves it priming it self every so often to rebuild pressure, and the unit is quite noisy.. but works reliability in my diy camper after about 6 months of on and off use

This pump has so many potential uses. I have used this to boost water pressure after my internal home plumbing so as not to put additional pressure on my piping and fittings. Great boost that is a game changer if you need to boost water pressure.

Had to force water into the intake in order for it to prime. Garbage. I even tightened all the hose clamps, & all the screw screws on the pump in case of air leak.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Hooked up on a 55 gal water barrel on my tractor for watering the garden. It has a lot of pressure but not volume. I knew that when I placed the order because the hose fittings are 3/8, but it does a good job and have not had any issues.
