I am thrilled to say that this overtone conditioner showed up on time, was packaged nicely and has straight forward easy instructions to follow. I bought this for my 9 and 11 year old girls. My 11 year old has very blonde hair and we did some fun highlights on the bottom of her hair. The Rose Gold color is so pretty. It’s been 4 days and it’s still a pretty pink color. My 9 year old has a little darker blonde hair(dirty blonde) and we could still see the color pretty good. It wasn’t as bright in hers, but still added some color and fun. I love that this is temporary as my girls are young and to be honest I have never been in to letting my girls color their hair. But this is a great option that is easy to use and was fun to do with my girls.The conditioner was very easy to apply and using gloves made the mess easy to clean up. I love that it has natural ingredients and that it’s cruelty free. I would definitely recommend overtone if you are looking for an easy temporary pop of color.~Jana

Easy to use but really only takes to lightened hair. I e had my hair highlighted for years but naturally I’m an ash blonde. This color didn’t take to the roots much at all and turned very magenta on the highlights. Overall it will be nice for the festival I’m going to but I hope it fades to a rose gold tone.

I don’t know if this had been sitting around too long or what, but it didn’t leave ANY color on my hair. I’ve used the blue and purple for years, so I’m very familiar with the product and have my application routine down to a science at this point. I applied it to my whole head. My hair is medium to dark brown with lightened hair from mid length to ends. I was at least expecting some color to show on the lightened portions! But there was nothing. I even left the conditioner on for like 2 hours while I was watching a movie. But, again, when I rinsed out the conditioner there was zero color left behind. It was very disappointing. It was also upsetting to have spent $30 on a familiar product that should have worked but did not. Next time I will purchase directly from the manufacturer so I can at least get a refund if the product is defective.

Selected rose gold and loved how it came out. I have blonde high lighted hair with brown roots and the color did well on the blond but did not touch the brown, which I knew it wouldn’t. I left the dye on my hair for an hour because 10-15 mins isn’t long enough. The color lasted about two washes before fading (I washed in cooler water verses warm water and wash every other day). It’s been a week and a half and I still have some color but for the most part it’s gone. The smell is a minty smell and was fine at first but then stuck around even after washing and became a bit much but still doable. I also used about a 1/3 of the jar and have 2a hair that is closer to fine and not very thick.

I have very dark brown hair that my stylist lightened just in the front (foil frame) with white.. It is VERY hard to keep up with the white as my roots show & it gets brassy quickly - I thought I'd try a few different products to see what I liked (color wise). I left the product on for approx 7 minutes & then rinsed well - it was much pinker than the photo (taken after I then washed with purple shampoo to remove the darker pink/red color -- I was going for a pastel pink). I just ordered the same product in Silver - if it works as good as this one (Rose Gold) it might be just what I am looking for... but the product definately does it's job!

I've been wanting to try this for a few years now. Finally decided to and, wow what a disappointment. It barely tinted my hair and did nothing in my neices hair. The vibrant rose gold/pink color they show in the photos was nothing like what we got, which was basically no color. I have medium blonde hair, it's not dark and I have a lot of highlights. Still can't see it. I returned it for a refund because it did not do as promised. Also I didn't like how it smelled and the gloves they include are kind of a joke.. Only plus is it does make your hair soft.

it’s my second time getting it and i love it sooo much !!! it smells sooo nice and it leaves my hair really soft and with a nice color. only downside is that the color itself doesn’t last very long but it is temporary so it’s fine !
