Q: What makes your snacks different?

They're made with care in Devon. Our potato chips are hand-cooked in small batches by our master fryers to achieve the best quality. Thick-cut and deliciously crunchy. Not to mention we also work with some talented local ingredients partners.

Q: What journey have the crisps been on?

It takes only a few hours from the potato coming from the ground to arriving to us, and roughly 20 minutes from arrival to being sealed in a pack. This means we make over 750,000 packs a day!

Q: Are Burts crisps made in the UK?

Yes! We're based in Devon. We aim to always source our ingredients as local to our site as possible to ensure authenticity, high standards, and freshness. We even put the names of the potato farmer and the master fryer on the bags.

Q: What does hand cooked actually mean?

It means we ensure that the person who fries the potato chips is the same person who inspects the potatoes before they’re washed and cut. Then the master fryer stirs them in the oil to ensure an even cook.
