For a DIY project. This is the perfect kit for a starter. At the end of the 3 stages, the level of polish produced on my car rims were more than expected, but I will recomend for the polishing wheel comb to be included. Over all I'm pleased with this product.

New to buffing here and although renegade has some of the very best products on the market, I feel that there isn’t enough knowledge base on their products to figure out what you actually need. In this kit everything is there to get you going EXCEPT a polishing rake and a special fitting needed for the head of your polisher so the safety flanges can fit. I struggled to find this information and ended up ordering flanges that use the center less buff wheels. Apparently they are safer and easier to use. Apart from that everything else is good to go. Maybe they can offer those options in kits later on.

This Renegade kit is awesome! It's free shipping on here unlike the renegade's website which is why I ordered in here. I had a Makita 9227c polisher and had to buy an extension, but this comes with the safety flanges (USE THEM!!!!). It comes with the real and correct sized tools, not the little cheap drill attachment tools. Renegade has good quality products too. Super happy with this kit to get started learning. I polished aluminum rims on my brother's dually truck and they turned out great.

Works but fell apart on the first rim

Everything you need to renew used chrome to its former glory. The products are easy to use and I especially like the polish, it goes on easy and even easier to come off. This is a perfect kit for someone that doesn't want to spend a ton of money of a professional polisher and isn't afraid to get a little dirty.
