My wife bought this light for the laundry room. And it is perfect. Although it is all plastic construction, it looks really nice and is easy to install due the light weight. And upon inspection after unpacking, I found the first thing I like about it; the inner circle fan cover is removable for easy cleaning of the one piece fan blades... which also is removeable! The installation was made easier with a 'tether cable'... after installing the base, the cable on the base can then be attached to the light unit. Then you can connect the wiring without having to also hold the light!! Nice feature... perhaps it is also a safety feature?? To keep the light from falling should it somehow detach from the base?!?! I connected it directly to the existing electrical wires which goes through wall switches. And found the next thing I like about it. After connection, I turned on the wall switch and the light came on. Just the light, bright setting. Perfect. It will still be a light just in case the remote 'walks away' !!! For other locations, the remote will be nice for adjusting the light and fan 'from the couch'. In my small laundry room, the light switch is at arm length so it is not 'necessary'... I would have opted for a 'remote' light switch panel to avoid the remote from leaving the room!!!. I like the many remote settings for both the fan and the light. There are light buttons for 3 preset Kelvin Color Temperature, adjustable Kelvin and adjustable bright/dim. The preset night-light button makes the light soft and dim. The One Minute light off button in nice feature. Hit that and one will have a minute of light to exit the room and the light will turn off afterward. The fan has adjustable speed and can be changed to up or down flow. The Wave setting will change fan speed randomly to simulate natural breezes. The fan is fairly powerful and quiet... not too loud on highest speed. The light and fan are separate... one can be on without the other being on. And one last button, the 'All Off' will do just that. Overall, I am quite pleased with this purchase !! It is a lot better than the old fluorescent tube lights that it replaced.

Really great buy. The fan is great for small areas. I placed fan in my kitchen and it is great. It keeps the area cool and throws a lot of air. Love it!! It is better than my other ceiling fans in my house. The fan cools the kitchen and the cost of the ceiling fan is great not expensive at all. The fan is not loud and I love that you control it with the remote control. You can reverse it when the weather changes at a touch of a button. It is very powerful and built with quality. If you are looking for a ceiling fan this is the one it is very functional.

I put this fan in a small restroom and it hardly throws any air the light is great but not the fan. kinda disappointed

I bought this for my son's room and absolutely love it. It's stylish, you can control the settings to where you can have like a night light or a bright light. The fan works absolutely great. You can have it go fast. You can have it go slow. The bright is bright. The light is light. It looks like we're going to be having this for the next couple years. I'm so happy with my buy. The remote is perfect. Haven't had any issues. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for durability in light/ fan.

Works great for my sons bedroom, nice and quiet and the night light feature is nice

Ok so I cannot emphasize the quality and price of this item ...I looked and looked and compared items. I decided to go with this and hope for the best I needed something brighter in the room that would still look nice. THIS NOT ONLY looks great but can get very brighter allowing me to see the clothes in the corner of the room it's on the side of room yet brightens so much and the added fan is incredible...during the winter it has reverse so can help with summer or winter ...IT REALLY IS A GREAT VALUE AND GREAT PRODUCT EXTREMELY SATISFIED!!! THANK YOU

Bought two and they were easy to install. However the remote on the second fan will not work. Changed batteries more than once but still not working? Is there something that can be done to pair remote with the fan?

I got this fan based on the fact that although it uses a remote to function it will remember the settings which allows you to just use your light switch for this. We have another similar fan in which you have to flip the switch then use the remote which just isn’t ideal in my opinion. This works great for our spare room, provides lighting and air flow in an area a traditional fan wouldn’t work.
