Excellent TV — just don’t buy it from Best Buy via Amazon. Delivery took over two weeks, which is unacceptable. That said, once it arrived, the TV delivered. Picture quality is outstanding for the price point, packed with all the features most people would need. It powered up right out of the box and setup was quick and straightforward. Product: strong value. Fulfillment: disappointing.

Seriously, I am writing this review watching the same TV as mentioned. If you’re lucky like I am, you’ll receive a very solid, light and well designed product to enjoy. For a TV under $200 you can not go wrong with this. We got this for our bedroom and it works incredibly well. The size is perfect where you can actually see what is going on. The picture is clear. Good speakers though a soundbar goes a long way. Easy set up. Seriously and once again at a price point lower than $200 this TV is absolutely worth it. Cheers.

The picture is beautiful, the color is vibrant, the sound is actually better than I was expecting even without a sound bar, streaming works fine, setup was super easy, almost automatic. Up and running in a few minutes. It can be controlled somewhat with Alexa which is a bonus. The one negative I knocked off a star for was the remote response is very slow. It could clearly use more system RAM or a better remote system. It works but with a delay. Other than that I'm very happy with this unit especially for the price. It replaced a 55" Sanyo that lasted 17 years of hard daily use of hours on end every day. That TV was $1500 for 1080p. Back in 2009, It weighed a lot more and was thicker. I doubt this will last anywhere that long but it was under $350. And is pretty amazing. I plan to give a longer term update after I've had it for several months to a year...

Review for the 55” 2025 model. Easy to setup! Very small bezel, which makes for a better view /appearance, imo. Dolby vision! Side mount connections and easy to connect. The built in fire TV and integrated use of Amazon and Prime Video, work great. Works seamlessly with other devices! Pairs fine with a Roku ultra. (The Roku recognizes the TV) Tons of apps available on the TV and quite a bit of storage space. Apps on the TV load pretty quick, paired with a 1gig WiFi. (Though not as fast, as with the Roku.) Excellent picture quality and cannot see pixel edging. Motion rate is smooth, and shadow ghosting is non existent! Great color quality, but had to fiddle with the brightness and back lighting. (Had to turn them down a bit.) The sound quality is surprisingly good! Turns on quickly and without issue. Glare isn’t an issue either. This really is an excellent TV for the price, quality and features. Don’t forget to *carefully* remove the plastic film that encompasses the entire screen. AFTER you’re done putting the legs on and is ready for use. Reading is fundamental lol. My film had a scuff on it, worried it may have impacted the screen. After removal the screen was flawless.

For $159 USD, this thing has incredible value. Beautiful picture. Good sound. Bought it for my wife to use with her Xbox Series X. I was skeptical at first. I saw a lot of reviews (not on Amazon) saying that this was a "terrible" TV, but it has been quite the opposite. I have a 43" LG ThinQ and this Toshiba can stand toe-to-toe with it. You have to look really hard to find differences.

I picked this TV on a X-mas holiday sale here on Amazon and couldn't pass up the $160 price for a 50" 4K tv! And I'm NOT disappointed! Firstly, when I ordered this, it said I wouldn't get it for about a week which was fine since I wasn't in a hurry for it. I was glad I got the good price so I could wait. Well, I was pleasantly surprised when I was notified it was coming the next day! Apparently someone said I wanted it fast, which I didn't, and Best Buy delivered it right away (they're only two miles away from me). Anyway, I get this and right away I was surprised how light this big tv weighs! Don't think it weighs more than 13 lbs. Last 4k tv I bought a few years back, a Samsung, weighed something like over 40 lbs for a 65". So, I unpack this TV and get it setup and got my regular smart apps running on it relatively easily. Being a FireTV, it's uses my Amazon info so that was helpful. Started watching my shows and I was pleased to see my shows I regularly watch look SO MUCH better which I guess is due to the AI 4K upscaling it's doing! Really beautiful seeing more detail on my documentaries I watch and makes watching like for the first time seeing new details and clarity I hadn't noticed before! Plus this has a phone TV remote app which is handy and works just like the physical remote. So, I'm VERY happy I grabbed this when I did for a great price and received a lightweight, great looking, quality 4K tv! I'm really enjoying watching it!

It’s been 5yrs since my house burned down. During this time I bought 3 Toshiba TV’s, bought a replacement 55”, during Prime sale to replace 1 the picture went out. The second one (rarely used) is now loosing sound. It has to be unplugged and restarted, turning off doesn’t work. The 55” is waiting as a spare until my house is rebuilt. Don’t even waste your money on the warranty, it’s worthless. If you can except these are great for temporary use, they have an okay picture and are cheap to buy, you’ll be happy. Watch a YouTube video if you don’t know how to turn off the spyware.
