Does this product work with ingrown hairs?

How long do i let it sit on my face before rinsing?

I usually leave it on about 30-60 seconds or so. I wet the stone then run it over the shaved area of my face. Then while I'm waiting, I'll rinse my brush which takes about 30 seconds to 1 minute, then I rinse my face with cold water.

Is it necessary to use this and the proraso after shave?

If after first shave that you have shave bumps. I recommend post shave stone.
