First of all, this mask is fun. I love that it "disappears" the longer it's worn. I wore the first one for not quite two hours. It fully "melted" into my skin and worked, but I'm wearing one tonight and want to see if it performs even better by leaving it on all night. From my first impression, my skin was so soft, moisturized, and felt plumper afterwards. The next day with only my skincare, no face makeup - my skin was glassy and hydrated for a couple of days. Only wearing it a short time made a huge difference and was effective so I expect leaving the occlusive mask overnight will help more. The price point is fantastic for the quality. It does tear easily but this second time putting it on was much better. I think the first time I put the textured side on my skin, but the smooth side is the actual magic that melts into the face. When flipping it over I tore it around the nose but it's easily put back on. I compared this recently to a Peach and Lily collagen mask. The P&L was incredibly heavy, slid off my face, tore constantly, and didn't work well. This Iston mask has a great fit, doesn't slide because it isn't heavy and it actually sticks. I have no notes.

Do be careful when removing these from the packaging because they are very thin and delicate. That said, they are also very lightweight and feel so cool on your skin. I applied one and just leaned back and relaxed for a couple of hours. After removing, my skin felt like silk. It was so smooth and glowy and looked much healthier overall. It felt hydrated and plumped ever so slightly, just enough to fill in my fine lines around my mouth and eyes. Compared to the other like items, I thought these seemed to be the most economical and was only hoping they would work as well, and I believe they do. Recommend.

I enjoyed this mask. If you’re planning to wear it overnight, I recommend letting it set for an hour before going to bed. Way less chance of it moving around or falling it. You do have to be careful when removing it from the package because it is thin, but that’s the point. It’s made out of fish collagen which is going to be very delicate. Take your time with it. I do seem to have what looks like a small blister on my forehead, but I’m supposed to start my period in a few days so I can’t quite make out if it’s a pimple or a direct result of using the mask, however I will try again for testing this theory out. Overall, I woke up with extremely moisturized skin that was glossy and hydrated. I got these on sale and I think it’s a good value for the money. I have notoriously dry skin and need all the hydration I can get!
