Solid for the price, but there's a lack of depth compared to other options like Sony and the noise canceling is a little inconsistent. The fit is also distinctly different and seems to require a size lower than usual for the ear tips. I definitely recommend spending a little more on some quality tips. As with all earbuds, the ones they come with are garbage.

I like lower tier high end audio equipment and am willing to pay 4 figures for a set of speakers or an audio system if it gives great value for the money. I have had electrostatic speakers, very nice head phones and earbuds and love rocking low end Martin Logan speakers. I wasn't too sure what to think of a blue tooth set of ear buds, but these Edifier Neobuds Planar blew me away. They are almost equal to my Sennheiser open backed headphones that are much larger and 2 times the price. They sound AMAZING. The good: The sound is A+++ The earbuds have a ton of features and they all work The case is nice and feels premium The buds are attractive and stylish The highs and the mids are heaven sent They perform as well gaming as they do for music They are very immersive and have a great sound stage They feel good in the ear and can be worn for long periods of time with out discomfort The sound isolation on calls is very good and you won't get that loud wind noise on calls Battery life is good and the battery case will keep you listening for a long while The app is nice and you can do a lot with it. They are easy to pair Did I mention the sound is phenomenal? Better than any ear buds I have tried in this price range. The not so good: They do not produce enough base to make baseheads happy. These sound more like a monitor with super clear highs and mids and enough base to keep me happy, but if you are a base person these may not work for you. The EQ could be better for personalizing sound The functions work, but other ear buds in this price range do them as well. Summary: These Neobuds Planar are all about the sound and excel at producing rich, clear sound that is pretty magical. They aren't for fans of heavy base or club music though. They have tons of great functions that work well, but you aren't buying these for the functions, you are buying them for the sound. I couldn't be happier with them and their clarity.

These are really great earbuds for everything I do. Call quality for both me and people I'm talking to is great and we can both understand every word. Granted mine get a lot more time with audiobooks than calls so the sound clarity is perfect to hear the narrator anywhere I go with excellent batter life in the earbuds themselves plus several recharges from the case.

The clarity was very good and the soundstage seem wide and well distinguished. The bass, however, was flat and non-existent. If they increase the bass power and profile then it would be 5 stars. They were comfortable in the ear but ultimately the lack of bass and tariff increase of $100 forced me to return these buds.

These earbuds are really comfortable they fit well in my year and the stem design helps the weight distribution and keeps them from slipping out of my ears. The only planar headphones I have are my sundaras and I've never tried a planar in a iem but so far I'm happy with it. The eq in the app really lets you tune the driver to whatever you want with an actual eq and not just presets. The driver sounds really good it's responsive and I don't hear and distortion regardless of The eq settings. The case feels premium and hefty there's a adjustable light on the case which you can adjust the color in the app and it's easy to carry around. The earbuds handle calls well and I haven't had any complaints. Overall I'm really happy with these earbuds the first product I bought from edifier was there 1280 speakers which were the cheapest decent speakers I could find and they still work after all these years so I'm sure these earbuds will do fine over time.

I've used these Edifier NeoBuds for over a month. The sound quality for mids and highs is absolutely fantastic, especially when using high-res audio files and lossless codecs. The soundstage is impressive, with great precision and punchiness thanks to the planar magnetic drivers. Even the pouch to carry the case is a lovely, high-end touch. However, like many planar magnetic earbuds, the bass can feel a bit lacking compared to dynamic drivers. My bigger concern is a quality issue: the right earbud stopped charging entirely after less than a month of relatively light usage. The sound is impressive, but potential buyers should be cautious unless Edifier can guarantee that this charging issue has been resolved. If so, I will adjust my rating accordingly. It's a real mixed bag, and it's the life of an early adopter.

Excellent clarity, and good value, especially at the Prime day price (unless you have to pay the US tariff tax!) Bass is not lacking, but it isn't emphasised as some seem to expect; bass is however highly dependant on getting a good fit in your ears, so you may need to try the other supplied tip sizes. ANC seems effective, and can be adjusted in Connex app.

La marque Edifier nous propose ici une paire d'écouteurs intra-auriculaires, fabriqués en Chine et affichés à 199,99 euros lors de la commande. Étant donné le prix, ces écouteurs se positionnent plutôt sur du haut de gamme, et ça se sent vu les moyens mis dans le packaging, qui met de bonne humeur, presque autant que si c'était une pomme :) Le boitier est sobre, en gris brossé, avec le logo en couleur argent brillant sur le dessus, et la marque à l'arrière. Il est possible de les charger en usb-c via le câble fourni, mais aussi en induction :) Les écouteurs ne m'ont pas donné entière satisfaction au premier essai, étant habitué à des choses plus compactes, et je trouvais qu'il ne tenaient pas très bien dans mes oreilles avec la taille standard, problème que je ne rencontre pas habituellement. J'ai laissé passer quelques jours, puis ai pris le temps de bien en faire le tour, et je dois dire que ma première impression n'était pas la bonne. Une fois passée la question du design, le changement d'embout, les écouteurs tiennent bien dans les oreilles, et proposent vraiment une très bonne qualité sonore! Musique classique, métal, techno, hip-hop, et j'en passe, à peu près tout y est passé, et là où beaucoup d'écouteurs ont tendance à pécher sur un style ou un autre, ils s'en sont très bien sortis partout, avec des basses qui sortent parfaitement, bien rondes même à haut volume, et une clarté cristalline sur les aigus (non, pas la flotte). 10/10 ! J'ai également pris le temps de télécharger l'application, qui offre de très nombreux réglages, tant au niveau des commandes tactiles des écouteurs G et D, des modes de réduction de bruit active ou adaptative, ou encore du mode jeu que j'ai eu le plaisir de découvrir ! On peut même choisir la couleur de la LED du boitier :) Petit regret toutefois, étant sur iPhone, les codecs LDAC et LHDC ne sont malheureusement pas gérés, et donc je ne suis pas en mesure de profiter de la totalité de ce qu'ils ont à offrir, mais c'est déjà excellent (soit dit en passant, l'icone Snapdragon sound est tout de même active dans mon appli donc mystère..) Ils sont fournis avec une notice multilingue assez détaillée, comprenant le français. 4 paires d'embouts sont proposés en plus de celle déjà équipée, de quoi trouver son bonheur pour toutes les oreilles. Une jolie pochette en tissu permettant de protéger le boitier dans un sac est également fournie. Côté autonomie, on se situe entre 25 et 30h d'utilisation discontinue, en utilisant le boitier, ce qui est plus que correct ! Une bonne découverte de cette marque que je ne connaissais pas du tout avant, que j'ai eu grand plaisir à découvrir et qui m'éprouve une très grande satisfaction, peut-être même au point de mettre mes Jabra au placard !

Ich fand kaum Vergleiche von Stax Spirit S10 (ab jetzt S10) vs. Neobuds Planar (ab jetzt Neo). Ich hab also beide bestellt und auch getestet, ob sie sich von den in großen Massen hergestellten TWS absetzten können: Sony WF-1000XM5, apple airpods pro 3 und airpods 4 ANC. - Bei Inears dient der Gehörgang als Resonanzraum. Es ist daher wichtig, dass sie absolut dicht machen und zugleich klingen sie bei jedem ein wenig anders, weil wir eben verschiedene Ohren haben. - Ich bin daher nicht allzusehr ins Detail gegangen, mir ging es mehr um eine grobe Einschätzung, da Inears wiegesagt sowieso bei jedem ein wenig anders klingen. Ich bekam die S10 im Angebot für €227 und die Neo für €171. Die Sony kosten zur Zeit knapp unter €200, die pro 3 €250€ und die Airpods 4 ANC €170. Ergonomie&Zubehör: Das Case der S10 ist deutlich schlanker als das der NEO. Hier merkt man den Preisunterschied. Außerdem sind bei den S10 mehr und bessere Stöpsel dabei, als bei den NEO. Das Case von Sony und Apple ist nochmals eine Spur schlanker und ergonomischer, als das der S10, aber für mich passt das Case der S10 auch wunderbar. Das Neo-case ist schon recht wuchtig. Tragekomfort: Jedes Ohr ist anders. Am schlechtesten passen mir die Sony. Da passt der Winkel einfach nicht bei mir, egal welche Stöpsel. Dann kommen die Airpods Pro 3, sie sind voll okay. Die beiden Edifier hingegen haben himmlischen Tragekomfort, da man den Winkel eigentlich selbst bestimmt kann. Egal wie man sie im Ohr dreht, sie sind im Schwerpunkt. Die Airpods 4 sind die aller angenehmsten, da sie keinen Stöpsel haben, mit allen Nachteilen, die das Fehlen der Stöpsel mitsichbringt. ANC: Die besten sind die pro 3, im Zug ist absolute Stille, die deutlich lautere Ubahn schaffen sie nicht ganz. Sie decken dennoch von allen den größten Frequenzraum an Geräuschen ab, dicht gefolgt von den Sony, die ja deutlich älter sind, Sony legt bestimmt bald nach. Die NEO haben ein wirklich gutes ANC, können aber nicht ganz mithalten mit Apple und Sony. Dann kommen die Airpods 4, die ja kein Siegel haben. In Auto und Zug sind sie ausreichend für mich, in der Ubahn versagen sie jedoch. Ob die S10 das Schlusslicht sind weiß ich leider nicht. Das ANC meines Exemplars funktioniert nicht. Es wird wohl angesagt welcher Modus aktiv ist, aber es passiert nichts. Ich vermute es ist einfach defekt, denn Werkseinstellungen half nicht und Firmwareupdate konnte ich keines finden. Laut Rezensionen im Netz ist das ANC der S10 das Schlusslicht. Schade, dass ich es nicht testen konnte. Konnektivität: Die Sony können LDAC auf 909kb, also der Höchstvariante ohne Probleme, über weite Strecken. Wow. Die Apple haben es leicht, da sie nur AAC verwenden, ist die Reichweite sehr hoch. Die beiden Edifier haben Probleme mit LDAC in der Höchstvariante. Mal geht es ohne Probleme, dann gibt es Aussetzer und Abbrüche. Ich konnte nicht herausfinden warum es mal geht und mal nicht. Kenn ich auch von den Hifiman Svanar. Das sicherste ist daher APTX Adaptive. Bei den NEO passt das. Die S10 könnten mit LDAC 909kb noch ein bisschen mehr. Schade. Klang: Das Wichtigste zum Schluss. Ja die S10 heben sich von allen anderen ab. Sie klingen voll, dynamisch, temperamentvoll, präzise. Bei Klassik und Jazz und akustischer Musik überragen sie die anderen was die realistische und natürliche Widergabe der Musik betrifft. Bei meinen Ohren ist es ganz leicht ein Siegel herzustellen, das kann ja bei jedem anders sein. Das EQ ist schwach, aber es gibt gute Presets: den Bass anheben mit „dynamisch“ oder absenken mit „elektrostatisch“. Mir sagt die Grundeinstellung am meisten zu und sie geht bei allen Musikstilen. Die NEO sind in der Grundeinstellung richtige Bassmonster und sie können das auch. Für sehr junge Ohren, die noch ein straffes Trommelfell haben, könnte das gut passen. Mir als über 40 Jähriger gefällt hier die Einstellung „elektrostatisch“ deutlich besser, empfinde den Bass in der Grundeinstellung als penetrant. Sie können insgesamt nicht ganz mithalten mit den S10, sind für mein Empfinden toll, aber letztlich eher auf der Ebene von Sony&Co. Es gibt nur wenig Musik, wo die Apple eindeutig das nachsehen haben, wie zB Schuberts Unvollendete in stressigen Orchesterpassagen oder der Soundtrack von Tron usw. Also wenn die Musik sehr anspruchsvoll wird brillieren die S10, das ist meiner Meinung nach audiophil (ich besitze Hifiman HE1000SE, Focal Clear Mg uvm). Die Sony und die NEO machen wirklich gute Musik, sind aber für jemand wie mich mit Klassik und Jazz eine Stufe drunter. Die Apple sind beim Großteil meiner Musiksammlung gut genug, aber manchmal denke ich mir, dass hätten die S10 jetzt besser geschafft. Die beiden Edifier sind übrigens grenzwertig leise. Bei alten leisen Klassikaufnahmen wird es kritisch. Bei Pop&Co reicht es für mich völlig. Fazit: Für mich handelt es sich bei den Edifier STAX Spirit S10 um audiophile Kopfhörer. Die Sony, Apple und Neo sind fantastische Normalo Kopfhörer. Die S10 sind ganz toll, klingen wie große und deutlich teurere Overear Kopfhörer. Aber sie haben kein/wenig ANC und nerven zeitweise mit Verbindungsabbrüchen. Ich würde folgendes raten. Nur wenn man wirklich Klassik, Jazz, Daftpunk, Jean Michel Jarre usw. hört, bringen die S10 einen mehrwert. Dann zahlt es sich aus zurückzuschicken und nochmals bestellen, in der Hoffnung ein besseres Exemplar zu erhalten, wo LDAC stabil ist. Wer Pop und Techno hört, ist vom hohen Auflösungsvermögen besonders im Hochton vielleicht sogar gestört. Außerdem sollte die Umgebung ruhig sein. Die passive Schalldämmung ist zwar gut, hat aber ihre grenzen gegenüber ANC. Einsatz also im WOHNZIMMER und Spaziergang in der Natur mit audiophiler Musik. Wer in der Stadt wohnt und den Lärm draußen haben will und vielleicht nicht zu den kritischen Klassik und Jazz Pedanten gehört: Sony und Apple klingen beide sehr gut und haben fantastisches ANC. Die Neobuds planar klingen super, haben den besseren Bass als Sony und Apple, haben dafür ein wenig schlechteres ANC, sind aber dafür angenehmer zu tragen, zumindest für mich. Mit AptX adaptive sind sie stabil und zuverlässig. Die Airpods 4 sind so ein Kompromiss zwischen himmlisch angenehm aber trotzdem ein bisschen Stille bei mäßigem Lärm. Klanglich sind sie für mich fast genauso gut wie die pro 3, außer dass sie durch die fehlenden Stöpsel nicht den Bass schaffen, wie die pro 3. (Die Hifiman Svanar sind auch tolle audiophile TWS. Ich hatte auch bei ihnen Probleme mit LDAC und es war viel schwieriger ein Siegel herzustellen. Sie gingen zurück.) Die Sony gingen zurück, weil sie mir weh tun nach 10min, da passt der Winkel nicht bei mir. Die beiden Edifier gingen auch zurück, wegen der Verbindungsprobleme und dem fehlenden ANC bei den S10 und die Neo, weil sie sich von den pro 3 zu wenig absetzen. Letzlich hoffe ich sehr, dass Edifier demnächst S12 rausgibt mit AptX lossless, ohne Probleme mit LDAC und einem ANC, dass zumindest mit dem der NEO mithalten kann. Der Klang der S10 hat mich wirklich überwältigt, aber die technischen Probleme waren mir dann doch zu viel des Guten für über €200. Ich hoffe ich konnte ein wenig helfen.
