I use this every night and then went to my audiologist who tested my aid for moisture and it didn't have any. This has happened several times so I am confident that the machine works great. It is compact and if you only have hearing aids, this is a wise choice. It also works in just a few hours. AND you don't have to buy dry brick desiccants and replace them every two months.IF YOU OFFERED A SECOND SIZE WITH A 1" WIDER BOX THAT WOULD BE BETTER FOR THOSE OF US WHO HAVE COCHLEAR IMPLANTS. I have one hearing aid and one cochlear implant. The wiring piece gets a lose connection in this dryer because I have to squish it into the dryer. If it was 1" wider inside the box, it would work better for me. The wiring piece costs $360 so I do not want to replace that every three months. I am going to have to purchase a second one for my cochlear implant and now I have more clutter on my nightstand or remember to swap out the hearing aid for the CI in the middle of the night. Not likely.

I had been using a dryer cup/desiccant to store my hearing aids overnight for years. Recently I noticed that my battery life was getting shorter. The problem became progressively worse to the point that sometimes they would only last a couple of hours. I began wondering if it was a moisture issue as it was midsummer and it was very humid. I began shopping on Amazon for a solution and finally decided to try this Kapak unit. Almost immediately after I started using it my battery life began to get better and after only a couple of days it was back to normal. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and it seems to have solved the problem completely. The unit is super simple to use and I like the fact that it not only dries (with auto-shutoff) but also disinfects using UV light. I am very happy with this product and would strongly recommend it.

Had some problems with hearing aids and had heard-seen some things about humidity problems with hearing aids. Product works like said it would. No way for me to verify that they are disinfected and dried, other then see the UV light treatment and warm air blowing thru unit. Had no problems with hearing aids since using and no problem with dryer either. Maybe battery so could use when traveling or no power supply available. Haven't tried using battery pack to run, but will try it now that I thinking about it.

About to Finnish my first use and am yet to see the outcome. However, as an life long hearing aide user a powered dry ade tool for hearing aides is going to be awesome. Then compaired with the standard rechargeable microwave or bake kit that would only last mabe 1 mo before having to redo it. So for me those are going to be my backup or travel set.Update: 4\6\19Bought it and received it March 11th. Did do the full cycle as discribed in manual. However, just recently had been signs of a glitch. I put the hearing aides in close the door press the button to turn it on. And seconds later it shuts off. If its my neglect of use am having a hard time reflecting what I did to it. On the flip side if it's the product am concidering trying to get a replacement other then that what a shame of a possible loss of a good tool that had potential. Time being 3 🌟Final update 4\9\19I had recently wrote about an glitch. I feel like its too late to file for an return. So as an troubleshooting choice I had switched the usb chord, as well as, usb home electric adapter. Seems to be working just fine now. I'm going to choose to bring it back to 5⭐ and leave it. Because am still proud to have purchased this useful tool and as said earlier its a step up. Just little disappointed the manufacturer chord and adapter Seems to be short lived.

It’s a very good product. But to my mind the temperature 122F is to much for drying hearing aids, they become pretty warm. But UV ray is prefect for disinfection!!!
