This works perfectly to broadcast music from my phone to a radio. You can broadcast on any FM frequency so as not to interfere with radio stations. The sound quality and battery life a excellent. Its also quite small.

Operation and bluetooth pairing is super easy. The fm range range is horrible, but if I leave it next to my stereo it gets the job done. It's smaller in size than I expected. For the money I say it's a good product.

Hi, I never write reviews, but for this product I have too!! I'm not understanding the negative reviews, I bought this to use with a vintage console stereo listening to old radio shows, inner sanctunnm, cbs radio mystery theater, etc. Work's absolutely perfect for this! I tune my vintage 1940" the console to channel, and it's absolutely perfect! I'm back in time, listening to vintage radio shows! Works perfectly for my application..

What should customers know? This is trash. I can put up with most but this is just terrible. I don’t understand how someone sells this with a straight face. Does not matter how loud your device is, the attenuation over FM is useless, your radio will need to be at 9 to hear this, with all the headroom and noise. Oh, it shuts off every 2 mins, regardless of charge. Tossing in the trash and charging back to the merchant, and if Amazon continues to let people sell trash, I’ll find elsewhere to get what I need, absolutely stay away. Do NOT connect Bluetooth to any sensitive device either. Trash.

I struggled with the star rating of this. It seems to behave as expected (deserving more stars) but has a poor design choice that ultimately lead to a lower rating. Like many newer cars available in the market, the car I have does not include an aux input for listening to external music. Instead, relying only on Bluetooth external audio input. But, only 1 Bluetooth source can be connected at a time, and Apple Carplay or Android Auto take up this connection when in use. I was trying to find a way to listen to an external MP3 player while also using Apple Carplay in my car. The only possibility is to use FM... So I bought this Scosche device for the explicit use case of using it's FM Transmitter functionality. I've tested all 3 functions, they all seem to work fine. However, when in FM mode and using only the Aux-in audio from an ipod I was having the issue of the unit shutting off after a few minutes. And this repeated consistently. After messaging customer service, it was revealed that the BTTRFM will only stay on/awake if it has an active bluetooth connection. Once I connected my phone to it, indeed the unit did not shutdown after predetermined amount of time and I was able to listen to uninterrupted music from my ipod. Luckily, having my iPhone connected to the Scosche via Bluetooth does not interrupt the Carplay functionality. So I am able to achieve my desired use case by doing this, but it is my understanding that using this as a standalone FM transmitter with only Aux audio is not what the unit is designed for. I could not find any reference to this in the product description or manual. This severly limits the FM capabilities advertised for this product.
