Although this product is sold as a plate rack, it's a shoe-in for organized lid storage. I love being able to see my collection of lids for pots, pans, & casseroles at a glance without rummaging through a cupboard. It also works for items like pizza pans and splatter screens. Keep in mind that lids aren't flat like plates, and some basic engineering is key to lining up functional access (it's not necessarily smallest to largest lid - more like flattest to curviest lid).

I only use it to dry plates but it is great for that! Unlike the other racks I tried, this one holds the plates high enough so the bottoms don't touch the counter. This is good for 2 reasons 1) You don't bang or break the plate putting it in the rack and it hitting the counter and 2) the plates dry completely and faster since they aren't sitting in a wet spot The coating on the rack protects the plates, keeps the rack from slipping and seems to make it easier to get the plates in/out. The rack slots being being different heights (lower to higher) seems to make it easier to get the plates in/out. The slots are big enough for my biggest plates and work with my smaller plates. Rack is stable so the rack and the dishes don't shift or fall. Exactly what I was looking for. But again, I am only using it for plates.

Just what I was looking for-coated metal upright dish holder. Stacking plates can cause glazing over time, I wanted something like this for storing my plates upright. The coating doesnt mark the plates when you add/remove them. Very sturdy, great for plate storage. Ordering more now.

We have over 19 lids of various sizes ranging from 4" diameter to 13" and are a mix of glass lids and stainless. I read reviews for several similar products and all of them seemed to have some flaw. I selected these since they looked sturdier than the others. They work great. I was originally concerned that the larger lids would be a problem but they're not. All the lids fit securely.They do not lean on the adjacent lids and it is easy to remove a single lid without disturbing any of the others. I still need to order one more since the two holders only hold 14 of my 19 lids. I highly recommend these. They are well made and are very affordable.

No assembly required! Easy to use, its been 2 years, very sturdy! Stores two plates in one slot.

This works ok, it can't handle my le Creuset dutch oven's lid, or a large glass lid; although they do fit in it, it promptly fell over backward when I had every slot filled, starting with the smaller to the largest lids. I am using it for small to medium lids and still searching for a way to get the big heavy ones off the shelves/counter and out of the way.
