Great TV, amazing value for money
The 55-inch QLED Mini LED TV is a great choice if you want a big, sharp screen without spending a fortune. The picture is bright, colorful, and clear, even in daylight, and the deeper blacks make movies look more cinematic. The slim design also makes it look sleek in the living room.Sound is decent for everyday use, though a soundbar will give you a better experience. The smart features are easy to use and let you jump quickly between streaming apps. Overall, it’s a solid TV for movies, sports, and gaming, offering excellent value for its size and quality.

TCL did it again! Brilliant TV.
So far, so good. This is the second TCL TV that I have purchased in the 2 years, and again, I'm not disappointed with taking a punt on TCL. Moving away from the big name brands of TV's that I have had in the past such as Samsung & Sony can fill you with a bit of trepidation but there is simply nothing to worry about.IMAGE - As seems to be standard with TCL the settings the TV ships with (picture wise), do need a fair bit of tinkering. In my case I had to up the clarity of the image and take a little bit of the brightness out, but once you've done that it's crystal clear. Hands down, it's one of the best images I've seen (I've also got a 55" Samsung OLED - this competes with that!). I've had zero issues with colour banding, ghosting or other modern day TV maladies.SOUND - The sound is exceptional - I was looking at getting a Hisense soundbar to beef up the sound but it's simply not needed. Dialogue is crystal clear and the bass is just enough (you can adjust all this to your needs though, so if you want more bass just up it in the audio menu). The sound is punchy though.OS - I had read on other TCL TVs horror stories with the Google TV operating system (which TBF I had encountered on my old Sony Bravia), but again whatever processor TCL is using it's fast, no lag, no menu hanging. So 10/10 for functionality.TV and remote - all was shipped in a well packaged box, it arrived on time with no damage, everything feels well made, and once you've paired up the Bluetooth remote you are away to the races. I've even paired up the TV with my PS5/PS4 controller, making going through menus even faster.Aerial/Terrestrial TV - It offers these services, but who really uses them these days. The one fault I may lay at the feet of TCL - again, if you are watching terrestrial TV or older content, the way TCL TVs process this image is not ideal so you will get a very distorted image.Beyond that, this is a steal of a TV! I just wish I had waited till the Amazon Prime Day deals - £85 cheaper! Oh well.Buy this TV, you will not be disappointed with your purchase, this rivals the big boys.

Excellent picture and features but sound might be an issue for some
Picture quality is excellent coming from an older LG LCD tv .Sharp and bright where it needs to be as it uses mini led technology.4k ,Dolby vision and HDR10 supported and the settings for dolby IQ settings make the picture even better.I use an Apple tv 4k and its great but when you use the tvs own apps to stream i think it looks just a bit sharper as its native to the tv.The apps work very well and easy to log in if you set up the google home settings then anything you have signed up with google is instantly signed in.Home screen menu can be simple or advanced on the home screen and the main menu options themselves are well laid out although i think missing out sound options is a mistake as picure options are there.(You have to go into the settings further to access sound)Sound is good but lacks real depth which i notice more when listening to music through spotify or radio channels through both tv and apple tv.I ended up buying a soundbar but the tv does get loud on its own so it depends on your preference and needs.Wifi is easy to connect and i've never had any connectivity issues. You cant go wrong with this tv .Regular tv looks good and anything in 4k is even better.Gets great reviews on the web and youtube so it was a simple choice for me

What a bargain the TCL 50C6KS-UK QD-Mini LED TV is!
Super-impressed with this TV, it’s an absolute pound for pound bargain for the picture quality it delivers. I use it as a TV in bedroom and mainly watch TV via Sky Q mini box and streaming services through the TV’s inbuilt apps. As per other review, I have picture set to Movie, using the same recommended calibrated settings, for SDR content with Sky Q mini, and use Dolby Vision Dark for majority of HDR content from streaming services. Picture quality is genuinely incredible at this price point. For comparison I have 65” LG G4 OLED as my main TV (which is simply astonishingly brilliant by the way) but when i switch to this it certainly doesn’t feel like a massive step down, the biggest differences being the motion control (this set is 60Hz so you do get some judder) and black levels (although still very deep for a mini LED, and much better than a 5 year old 55” Samsung Q85R Full array LED I also have), however colour accuracy isn’t that far away from the LG.Google TV OS is good, works smoothly with little or no lag.For me this TV is a real best buy, I wouldn’t have thought you’d get this level of performance from a TV at this price point ever - it’s that good!

Nope
I wrote a lot about this TV. Good and bad but I decided to give it a 1 star after what I just experienced. So the colours are bland, blemishes around the screen when checking black and the flimsy plastics that this TV hangs on. The processor in it doesn't let changing options whilst watching TV smoothly, same with browsing web -it's a nightmare. But the worst is that this TV, despite all possible privacy settings switched to nothing, no microphone, no background downloading etc - the TV just decided to do something in the background and flash with a green led. It does appear that one of the videos I was watching on my tablet triggered it and that was a sensitive topic. I don't know. I haven't seen the TV to do anything like that until now. I'm glad I'm returning it because it should not be doing anything in the background whilst switched off.
