Is this the y-connector? The picture shows the spray nozzle, but I have plenty of those. I just can't connect them!

no that's not the Y-Connector; i tried copying and pasting a pic you for but it would not let me do it. Just go to Google and type exo terra y-connector and you should should see some pics of it

Does this work for monsoon solo??

yes but the solo is only for one tank

Does it matter how you space the Y couplings, or do all the tubing lengths need to be equal?

The tubing lengths do not have to be all equal, but you may experience less pressure in the nozzle furthest away from the Y coupling. We ultimately used same length hoses and positioned the monsoon between the habitats foe equal distribution of mist to each one.
