uniball 207 Retractable Gel Pens, Ultra Micro Point (0.38mm), Black, 12 Pack

I’m super neurotic about my pens and write all the time. I would never get another pen unless it was blue until this pen. This pen exceeded my expectations and it wasn’t even the color I wanted. It’s perfect and I love it anyway. Writes well, doesn’t bleed, very fine tip, perfect for neat or fast handwriting. I usually go through a pack of pens in a year. GET THIS ONE. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

If you like a very fine tip pen these are da bomb. My favorite pens for decades. These are the only pens I buy. Ink flows wonderfully and consistently.

I love these pens - but I was horrified when the pens were loose in a bag and not in the manufacturer's box - that bag was thrown in a shipping bag and a couple of them were damaged... seriously careless packing. It is also a storage problem to have 24 loose pens. Fail.

That's usually an oxymoron: If you can find an ultra-fine or extra-fine point pen, they usually are scratchy, feel like they are ripping or digging the paper a little, but not these. I have tried every ultra and extra fine point pen I could get my hands on over the past couple of decades, and this is by far the smoothest. Writes like glass. Lays down plenty of ink for a smooth glide, but capable of lines finer than a human hair. I love this pen. My local office supply store no longer carries these b/c everyone's on the Sharpie bandwagon, but a Sharpie cannot glide this elegantly and effortlessly across the page, and no other pen can write quite this tiny or fine a line. So now I'm ordering them by the box from Amazon. There is no pen even close to this, no substitute; if they stop making these, it's a loss to us all. There's just nothing close to be a replacement. Get these while you still can!

I often have to write in small spaces for work, these .38 pens are perfect and durable. The writing quality is smooth and they don’t smear. The best .38 pen I’ve tried!

Uni-ball is a top pen maker. There is not much more to say about that. I love these pens becuase of how sharp the tip is. It delivers thin but bold lines and feels incredibly accurate. The click is satisying, the ink flows evenly at all times, but has a propensity to break up near the top of the pocket clip, causing the entire back of the pen to shoot off when you press down on the tip. It takes quite a while for that to happen but nearly all of them do this in one way or another. Awesome pen.

I love these pens! There are two major things that stand out to me. One being the ink flow. The ink flow is very consistent. No splotches or interruption. And the second is the fine point. This makes writing clear very easy, and I use these pens to make tiny marks at work all the time. They last me the full life of the ink, and I love that too.

Great fine pen, perfect for urban sketching, very expressive. Wonderful for the office as you can write very finely. This will dissolve in water.

Terrible writing pens. 207 ultra micro. Constant thinning and skipping

So I've used a lot of pens over the years at 0.5mm to 0.7mm and to be frank, this uniball micro pen is better than a lot of other brands. It writes smooth and fine. Super fine to be exact and that is what I want. It's like a superfine gel pen in my opinion and there is no other I've used over the last 5 years. Some say it is a bit scratchy on paper due to its fineness but I like it that way. It writes sharp. Each pen comes with a plastic ball to protect it from drying and needs to be removed prior to use. I use them daily and have brand new ones stored for years and no problems.

These are my favourite pens to use. I work in healthcare, and I do a lot of paper charting, so I'm constantly writing. These pens have a nice thickness to them, so I maintain a steady grip as I write, which helps to decrease fatigue. The ink is bold black; I spilled water on my writing, and the ink did not smudge at all. The tip is fine and writes very smoothly - I have finished using 4 pens from this series and none of the ink skipped. The ink does not seep through the pages either. I purchased the 12 pack, and they avg to about $1.50 each - this is a steal, because a 3 pack at Staples cost me $8.
