I purchased this to digitize photo prints by shooting them with my digital camera. The tent softens light landing on objects (here photographs) placed inside and pretty much eliminates glare or shiny spots. The basic idea for shooting photographs is to mount your camera above the tent looking down (I used a copy stand) and lay the photos on the bottom of the tent (or on a rigid shooting surface). In this setup, the camera and top of tent can still reflect in the photos. To eliminate the reflection, make a dark mat surface (I used poster board on which I glued mat black paper) and cut a hole in it to poke your camera in. Then open up the top of the tent (what a great design), place your board and camera up top and voila, no reflections.If you are using your mobile phone to digitize, you can probably just lay your camera on the blackened poster board and skip the copy stand.

It says 24"X24" in the description, and if you take out a tape measure like I did it is, but it feels so much bigger. Plenty of room to photo a toaster or formal china platter. Sturdy construction I can tell the quality when putting it up or taking it down. It bends into hoops like a photography reflector or windshield sun screen and stores at about 5" thick by 10" in diameter. Storage bag included and the provided backdrops secure firmly via Velcro fastener to the inside of the cube. No assembly required. Just fold or unfold it and you are ready to go.

I purchased the 40" one and it is TRULY HUGE, which is great. The material is wrinkled and I will have to find my steamer and try to steam out the wrinkles,which is annoying.However, theworst part is that my highly experienced handyman was here and he could not figure out how to put it together. Took him time plus watching a video that was very weak in terms of instructions. He said "it's not you--even I who do this for a living cannot understand immediately how to put this together. He ultimately succeeded but could not put in the hanging background as they all need pressing. I would buy the item again based only on size, but the fact that the seller does NOT have the courtesy to include an instruction sheet is very inconsiderate, bad news. All my Amazon purchases have instructions---SELLER should read this and try to be more considerate of the buyer's perspective.

My photo cube arrived with some manufacturing defects, the fabric along one of the seams is torn.That said, I was still able to use the cube and I'll hold onto it until it tears completely. For only $35, I can live with it.It's a pain to fold / pack up -- I had to watch a video to understand as the photo instructions aren't clear. Basically, you start by folding it in from the corner, then after flattening it out, give it an over-under twist.

Perfect set up for reflective products when you need a smooth white background.

Not at all as expected. Poor design.

Works well once you learn how to set up your item and camera. A little difficult to fold back into case but is easily portable to fold mostly down. Good value for the money.

It worked great to print ABS. I had printed some upgrades for the Ender out of PLA they melted in the tent. I aligned it so the spool was outside.
