They work on light weight metal and hard to cut things . They were great for fixing Decorative items . A bit hard to use as I have little hands and they were a little awkward for me. However I figured it out!

Good quality metal shears. Tough and sharp right out of the box.

These shears really surprised me. They cut through my 30 gage galvanized steel roof panels with ease! The handles worked for my hands and my wife’s hands and neither one of us wore any gloves. I am 6’4” and 250 lbs and she is 5’5” and 135 lbs. She was able to cut through the paneling with ease. Very pleased after trying to cut through these with a 4.5 inch circular saw which tore up the metal. Only difficulty is trying to cut lengthwise with the panels from the shears bulkiness but was able to.

The handle is not comfortable for me. There needs to be more space between the two handles. To close the shears completely, the two handles have to touch each other which cramps my hands quickly. I wear a size 13 glove so this might be an issue just for people with larger hands. They'll be in the toolbox but will not use them for any lengthy cutting. Sorry.
