Well made and a thoughtful design but I struggled to get this product to work on the 12v under dash cabling in my vehicle. I was wiring in a dash cam and sat nav. The connectors are obviously meant for smaller diameter cable than this. My cables fitted inside the channels after I’d cut out the two plastic circles (as per the instruction) and both of the plastic clips were secure and in place but no electrical connection was made. I tried a few times and used a few units before I got it to work. In the time it took I could have stripped the cables back and soldered the joints.

Small wire connectors, worked well as an easy/inexpensive fix for an issue I had.I had an outdoor decoration that was relatively expensive, and at some point when I have closed the outdoor electric box that the decoration plugs into the small thin wire cable running to the decoration got caught in the box lid and damaged. I was able to use these to cut and reconnect the wire, the decoration works fine now.The connectors I don't believe are waterproof luckily for me the connector is close enough to the plug that I can put it into my weatherproof box.

I don't know too much about electrics, but I needed to join some wires so took a punt on buying these. I have to say I think they are brilliant idea and worked very well. I had to wire in a side loading light underneath a horsebox. There was an existing 2 pair wire. which normally would have needed to be cut and then another 2 pair wire to join to the circuit. This connector allowed me to separate the pairs on the existing wire and run it through the connector without actually cutting it, so no risk to the existing working light. I was then able to wire in the 3rd light by just pushing the wires from the loading light into the connector (no stripping) and them clapping it shut. I had a little practice with one at home first using some spare wire, but then easily installed the one I needed in very restricted space under the vehicle. Overall I'm very impressed and will always look for this type of connector in future when I have a need.

A little fiddly especially when trying to connect wires above your head but ultimately do the job. Tip if the wires your using have already have the insulation shaved off at the end cut that bit of wire off as i found it didn’t connect properly (probably just pushed the wire up)
