about 2$ a pic but worth it in the end
solid camera, as expected the itype film needs A LOT of light to show detail. outdoor daytime shots are especially nice. any indoor shots be sure to have as much light as you can. the flash seems to only work from a few feet away... otherwise you need external light sources to create a good image. the overall cost is a little high but easily accepted after you begin getting some good shots. make a scrap book with friends or family and you will be pleased.

Junk
Absolutely a waste of money: poor quality pictures, dark, not clear. I bought it to take pictures to identify art and furniture being packed for a move....and could not identify objects from the picture. And ended up using my camera and printer. I opened it too late to return it; relied on the 'reputation' of Polaroid....which was a mistake. Buy something else.

Baby Shower Gift
Its a great baby shower gift and instant gratification when you catch that moment

Too dark
Because of large pic format, in low light its useless with its own flash. Low light - typical living room lighting in the eve. The picture will turn dark.Other than that its good camera.

Kitschy and fun, not great photos
I bought this for my daughter who loves kitschy stuff from the 70’s and 80’s. She loves it and is having fun taking sub-par photos with her Gen Z friends who grew up with much better cameras on handheld devices. The photos turn out kind of grainy and darkish, so don’t count on this to capture important moments. Basically, this camera is for fun and nostalgia, so don’t expect it to be more than it is. If you want better quality photos instantly, you’re better off using your smart phone with a mini printer like Cannon Ivy or Selphy. Be aware that this nostalgic fun comes with a price tag of approximately $3.00 per photo—and the film has an expiration date and it’s recommended you store in a cool place, like a refrigerator. Check out film costs before committing to buying this. It’s a good camera if you purchase it with realistic expectations and don’t mind the ongoing expense.

Exactly as Expected
This camera was exactly what I was expecting. It feels solid and the mechanisms all work exactly as they should. The flash works fine enough in a dim room after setting the +0.5 exposure setting by holding down the flash and then moving the bar to the top. You get an incredibly 70s/80s feel to the picture and it develops beautifully.Something I will be using for years and years to come, I think.
