SubstrateSource Cryptocoryne crispatula var. balansae grows out to be a tall, flowing background plant. It's "bullate" leaves give it a texture reminiscent of Microsorum Java Fern, but with the long leave shape of a Vallisneria or Cryptocoryne spiralis. This plant requires an established freshwater aquarium for optimal growth.
