You can really tell the difference!
This product is not cheap, but neither is the quality! I debated this purchase for sometime due to the cost, if you are serious (really serious) about caring for your leather, then you won't be disappointed. Just about all leather seats, even and sometimes especially in expensive vehicles is and has been for sometime clear coated to protect the leather. Instead of treating the leather this product treats and helps preserve the clear coat. No I don't work for the manufacturer, this is a great product and it makes sense.

Great stuff
I hesitate to purposely test the stain protection on my outback's seats but I will say this product was easy to apply and the 1hr wait was minimal. My car is only 2 years old so leather was still in good shape and while the leather protect did give my leather a clean "showroom" look. MINIMAL change in hue much like 303 protectant does. The wife commented how good they looked. The other products I've used of GTech are CSL, EXOv5, panel wipe, car soap, glass polish, glass cleaner, water repellent, tri clean, as well as ceramic sealant and they have all worked well including microfiber rags have all been outstanding

Next level chemical tech
Suggested by person who ceramic coated paint on my truck. After applying on interior of truck I experimented with it on high end leather chair then some hiking shoes with lots of wear. The results were amazing for now. Time will tell just how good but for now I'm impressed

Seems OK — cap awful
I went with the small bottle to try it before committing to a large bottle. The spritzer cap was useless (no mist, no stream, no nothing) so I had to blot my applicator pad instead. Seemed to go on fine and I like the way it left my leather seats.

Great product
Anything Gtecniq makes is straight forward and works like the company says. Used a very mild leather cleaning tool on these Mercedes seats. Let them dry and then applied the Leather guard as the instructions stated. The goal was to keep dye transfer of my client’s clothes from staining the seats. Now I use this on any new car I’m doing to help prevent this issue.

Leather Gaurd!
Very easy to apply & wipe off! However, this does not have the most pleasant smell, but doesn’t last long at all. Applied about a month ago, so far so good.

Really easy to use
Really easy to use. Nice matte finish for the first wipe on, second coat is satin. Leaves no high spots doesn’t smell like much just a cleaner type of scent. Does leave the leather soft and looking like it was just off the showroom floor.

Disappointed.
In February, I decided to replace the upholstery in my car with leather. With that in mind, after searching and asking around, this product was recommended to me, so I decided to give it a shot. About a day after having the leather installed, I applied the Gtechniq Leather Guard. As per directions, I applied the leather guard, waited 36-hours, then applied a second application before giving the leather another 24-hours to sit before using the vehicle again. To be clear, the car was not used, not were the seats sat in until 24-hours after the second application. With new leather, I wanted to ensure I did everything perfectly to get the most out the the product. The second application was done February 17th.While waiting, I did apply the solution to a pair of old leather shoes and sprayed some water on them to test. The water beading worked quite well - but then again, with leather beads water away quite well to begin with.March 3rd, while cleaning the car, I noticed some small, simple dirt buildup on the seats. I smiled, remember I applied the leather guard and immediately thought "awesome, I get to test how easy dirt is to remove". I wiped -- dirt was still there. I wiped with a bit of elbow grease -- dirt still there, no change. I began lightly scrubbing with a bit of water -- little to no change. I grabbed some cleaner, then began to lightly scrub and finally I began to see signs of the dirt disappearing. I continued scrubbing and adding a bit more cleaner but the dirt was slowly disappearing. Finally I was fed up, I applied a good amount of cleaner, let it foam, then began scrubbing as I'd do had no guard been on the leather. Finally the stain was mostly gone. When all was said and done, I was fairly disappointed. The leather guard didn't do much to protect the leather from stains. While coffee was spilled on the seat (a different seat) a week prior, it wiped away easy, but again, this is leather, not cloth. Leather doesn't absorb liquids quite as quickly or as well as cloth. To cut to the chase, I'm disappointed with this product. I was expecting protection from stains and easy removal in the event stains and dirt did find their way onto the leather. I'm not saying the guard doesn't work, but rather that it doesn't work nearly as well as the description would lead you to believe. In short, I'm a disappointed customer and I'm currently looking for a new product that actually works.
