purchased Insta360 Ace Pro 2 after seeing that the listing included the mounting bracket/adapter (used to attach the camera to a tripod or selfie stick). Unfortunately, the adapter was missing from the package I received. This is a critical part of the setup — without it, can’t connect the camera to Invisible Selfie Stick or any standard mount. While the rest of the components seem fine, this missing item makes the bundle incomplete and frustrating to use

The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 offers fantastic image quality, stabilization, and hardware performance—definitely a solid choice for content creators and adventure seekers. However, the software doesn't quite live up to the hype. The AutoAI editing feature, heavily marketed as a key selling point, only works for clips under 20 minutes. That’s a major limitation if you’re shooting long-form footage. Also, the feature is only available on the mobile app, not on the Windows desktop version, which is a frustrating miss for users who prefer editing on a computer. Amazing camera, but Insta360 needs to bring their editing tools up to speed—especially for power users. Update on 13 Aug 2025: After sharing my feedback on the editing software and its limitations, Insta360's customer service team personally reached out to inform me of their plans to address the issues I raised. I was genuinely impressed—this is hands down the most responsive and committed customer support I've experienced. They listened, engaged thoughtfully, and showed a clear dedication to improving their product. I'm truly glad I chose Insta360 over other brands.

I bought the DJI Nano last week really good, but on reflection not being able to change batteries or record directly onto the card not helpful & 1hr record time (camera only). Only had delivery yesterday evening of the Ace Pro 2 can already see the benefits, and free Insta editing software on my Mac now, much better than editing on the phone. I’d definitely recommend the Ace Pro 2, will be using it with my bike rides…

Works, working well. But definitely has a learning curve. Or maybe just me? Im not a "traditional" photographer, just cell phone - aim, point, press. But I'm slowly learning it's potentials.

Brilliant action cam, I was thinking I would return it due to not "feeling" it much when arrived but now that I have used it, I have captured some special pics and videos with this. It's clear and a tough too, the lens already has a protector on which can be replaced which is brilliant. I've used it as a dashcam as it captures even number plates at a distance at high speed (60 or 70mph) in the car mode, you can hide number plates too which is great Downsides... app crashes, theres not much filters or editing options for the videos and photos which can be boring, the selfie stick although it is nice because it has a tri pod but it does feel a bit cheap and flimsy, also its not very long either, so the field of view is limited. And another downside is close up focus is terrible on this camera. I recommend this camera as it does tick most of the boxes but be prepared to spend money on extras, and the ace pro 3 should be coming about soon so that one will be worth the wait hoping they iron out the issue with close up focus issue.
