They have been effective at repelling moths, and I personally think they smell good. I like that they are a natural alternative, because I’m not a fan of any harsh chemicals or odors.

Enough pieces to moth-proof a small apartment, in enough different forms that you'll have no trouble doing so. The sachets are perfect for the most infested areas, and you can slip a disc in each drawer. Just make sure to remove open water sources and you're good to go!

I was excited to try these cedar blocks and sachets to freshen up my drawers and closets while keeping moths away. When I first opened the package, the cedar scent was really pleasant—clean, woodsy, not overpowering. But after a couple of weeks, I noticed the smell had faded quite a bit, especially in the drawers.The variety of shapes (blocks, balls, chips) is nice, and they look good in storage spaces. I like that they’re all-natural and chemical-free, but I was hoping the scent would last longer without having to “refresh” them so soon.Some tips if you go with this set:Lightly sand the cedar blocks every few weeks to bring the scent back. A quick rub with fine sandpaper really helps.Store the extras in a sealed bag to preserve the scent until you're ready to use them.Use more than one in larger spaces like closets—it takes a few to notice the scent.Don’t expect a strong aroma like commercial air fresheners—this is much more subtle.Overall, they’re okay, especially if you're into natural products. Just know you’ll need to put in a bit of upkeep to keep them working well.

I’ve bought cedar in the past for use in storing my cashmere sweaters and other wool products. However, this product has been really great for me because it comes in different shapes and sizes. This allows me to use it in a variety of places. Since I hang up all my wool cardigans, the option with the hook for closet clothes rod is terrific. The small balls can go in drawers for wool gloves, and the round circles store well with wool scarves and knit caps. I’m very happy with this product.

Not a strong smell of cedar. Time will tell if it works.
