-12 AWG. The gauge is the right thickness for 12 AWG. Tinned copper wire makes soldering easier Includes a variety of fuses Good deal for 10 of fuse holders with a good selection of fuses,at less than one dollar ea. 40A fuses ... well i'm not sure that 12 AWG is thick enough for a 35A/12V (i.e., 40A protected) circuit, but I don't need to get anywhere near that myself so. I am going to be using these to protect the wires that will be feeding my LED lighting strips
