Let me tell you, I've been around the block with keyboards, and the Macally Ultra-Slim USB Wired Keyboard is a real gem, especially if you're rolling with an Apple Mac-Mini Pro.First off, the build quality is solid. This is a good keyboard if you're looking for a low price and don't mind that it doesn't have touch id. The touch id on my much more expensive Apple keyboard didn't always work, so it's no great loss. I like the number pad, which makes it much easier to type long numbers. The only downside is that I have not yet been able to find a keyboard cover that fits. It appears that Macally doesn't make covers for their keyboards.

Out of all the Mac clone keyboards out there, I chose this one because its key layout most closely resembles the traditional Mac full-size keyboard. The left control, option and command keys are more or less the right size and they are in the right place, uninterrupted by a pesky "fn" key. The forward delete key is in the right spot, too, which was important for me.Overall, I have been pleased with it. The "touch" is quite light and responsive and the keyboard looks pretty good. Most of the Mac shortcut keys are there: monitor brightness, volume, eject, etc. One shortcut key that is missing that I use all the time is the Mission Control key (F3 on a standard Mac keyboard.) You can, however, set up your own shortcut for Mission Control in System Preferences, if you want.Some cons: it is noticeably flimsier than a Mac wired keyboard. You can notice the entire keyboard flexing in the middle as you type. This doesn't bother me much or impede my typing, but I can see that it might drive some people nuts. As many others have noted, there does seem to be a major flaw with the caps lock LED light. The key itself works fine, but after a day or two, the white LED caps lock indicator at the upper right stopped working, so if you accidentally hit the caps lock key, you won't know it UNTIL EVERYTHING YOU TYPE IS IN ALL CAPS. I guess if you are prone to this, you might want to reconsider buying this keyboard. So far for me it hasn't been an issue.

I am very pleased with this keyboard. The CTRL key quit working on my mac keyboard. I purchased a magic keyboard for 3X the price only to find that it is not compatible with my IMac. I am so happy to find this one for a fraction of the price and it works beautifully by simply plugging it in. No setup required. The Function keys work beautifully and there's even a copy/paste key, which is super helpful. Very happy with this product.

It’s the same Brand that I had before I live and it’s simple to install.

I purchased this as a replacement for my original APPLE keyboard.The item arrived and I installed it - it is a wired keyboard.Initially, it worked okay. BUT, a short while after when using it the CAPSLOCK LIGHT and the SPACE BAR key stopped working. I first tried to try to correct this by restarting the computer. They both "worked" for a few seconds and then stopped. Was not able to get them to work with multiple ties. I contacted MAACALLAY, the supplier, and they sent me a replacement quickly. I was impressed. BUT - again - this replacement's space bar worked BUT again, the CAPS LOCK light did not. In both instances having the the CAPS LOCK not work required too many changes when typing. I again contacted MACALLAY. They had three options for correcting this problem. One was to try a wifi keyboard (no thank you), another was another replacement...also, no thank you. The Third was a REFUND. Not wanting to have another problem with any MACALLAY product I accepted the REFUND. They agreed.Though they worked with me I am very concerned that they were so amenable to continue to replace a product that did not work with another one which ended up also not working. I did not have to return them so now I have the two keyboards. I am surprised they did not want them back to check them out, fix the issue, etc. The keyboards cost approx. $40, so that is an $80 loss to them.

Works great at a much cheaper price. I’ve really enjoyed the keyboard and it’s nice having one that so closely resembles the Apple one without the Apple price tag.

Great cheap replacement keyboard. Works good with acceptable tactile feel. Almost one year usage and still going strong.
