Be prepared for some assembly. Small hardware means difficult handling. A magnetized Phillips screwdriver solved that. Assembly was pretty straight forward. Adjusting was easy. I adjusted mine a little longer than the original burner, as my grill had the room. Be very careful with the flexible, extendable Venturi tubes. Take it slow and you’ll be fine. The fit isn’t exact for my grill- the venturi tubes are a little too close together to match the openings on the bottom of the firebox. They are flexible enough to work anyway. Again, take it slow and make small adjustments as needed. The quality is good. I expect it to rust fairly quickly. There is a stainless version. I will likely be replacing my grill with a larger one next year, so I’m not worried about rust. All in all, for the price of this item, I have a perfectly functional grill. Definitely recommended if you’re willing to be careful during assembly and installation.

Works good but there was no retention hardware (had to reuse the old bracket) and the tubes were almost too short for our vintage Sunbeam grill.

Very universal A lot of little gadgets you don't need but it worked out great.cuz the other one rusted away installed it for him.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Frankly, there were not a lot of options. I used to be able to find replacement burners at Lowes or Home Depot locally, but no more, so I had to go online. The old burner was rusted out. This burner is a little wider than the original, but it fits nicely in the grill, and the length was easy to adjust. This burner took more assembly than I've ever had to do, but it isn't complicated . The ventri tubes need to be extended in order to fit them over the intake tubes of the grill. The instructions say to stretch them after assembly is complete. But when I did, with the new burner installed in the grill, I pulled one of the ventri tubes right off of the assembly. The manufacturer quickly replaced the entire unit (next day after I reported it). So this time, I carefully stretched the tubes before attaching them to the burner. Much better! The burner is functional, but the flames do not get as high as they did using the original burner. I'm not sure what that is about, but my steak did not get as seared as it used to, and was not nearly as tasty as it would have been with the original unit. The whole grill just didn't seem as hot as it used to be. If anyone can tell me how to correct that, it would be much appreciated.

Good fit for 20 year old Fiesta Advantis grill. First time replacing the burner wasn't sure what I would find. Had to modify the opening of the gas connector a little to where it connects to the supply. Used 7/16 bit which bored the opening just slightly- provided a snug fit. Good generic design which seems to be good quality stainless steel. I think will outlast my grill. Glad I didn't replace the grill.

This burner could kill someone. It’s actually a nice burner that could be perfect. But it’s like someone designed it, then said “let’s see how we can mess this up so it takes people hours to install it and then will probably blow them up”. It cannot be assembled as instructed. You are supposed to be able to use the M4x6mm bolt to secure the adjustable burners. Problem is there is no hole the right size to screw them in. Once you “rig” it to assemble it, the ventri tubes that connect to your gas line don’t fit properly and use extremely weak springs to “sort of” keep it connected (many other reviews mention this). This will probably fail at some point and leave gas venting out into the back of the grill until BOOM - bye bye BBQ and anyone within 10 feet of it. This should be removed from the website immediately. This turned an easy burner swap that should have taken less than 30 minutes into a 2 hour ordeal that I ended up returning anyways because I didn’t feel like seeing the inside of a propane fireball.

The Brinkmann Grill Parts Pro Adjustable Universal Replacement BBQ Grill Oblong Tube Burner (ASIN: B007VAXSNS) is well built and overall easy to install. This is the second replacement burner that I have installed in this grill. The stainless-steel of this burner tube is thicker than the previous replacement, so it should last longer. However, the spacing between the two tubes that supply to fuel to the tube burner is not adjustable on this burner. The spacing and location is fixed and rigid. The previous tube burner I installed was flexible there, as they could be slid closer together or opened further apart. I needed this function, as the holes for the tubes to pass through the grill bottom were further apart. This required modification of the grill to accommodate, so for me required additional work to complete the installation.
