Good arcade stick for the price.
This is my first arcade stick and so I didn't want to invest too much. After a bit of research I found the Mayflash F101. This is a fantastic stick for the price. Sure the buttons and stick aren't as premium as a $100+ stick, but what do you expect. However, the quality is absolutely fine for anyone starting out on the journey. There are lots of upgrade and modding options, so with a little bit extra the short falls could be greatly improved. As for now, this stick is absolutely what I was looking for. They even provide you with both a square and an octagonal gate which was much appreciated. I would absolutely recommend this fine budget arcade stick.

Good stick Good Price - recommended
Bought this for £44.99. I'm using this on Retropie Raspberry PIE 3.0. The buttons and stick and everything else seems good and I am happy with the quality. Gave it a good test the weekend gone with silkworm 1942 bubble bobble and double dragon and am very pleased with it. One thing I did notice - I opened a rom with IMame4All - and I noticed it didn't recognize the joystick movements - I tried this version of mame on other roms and it was still no good but it did recognise the keypad controller. I think its Mame-liberto or something like that I am using to run mame roms and that does work no problem with the stick. All in all a good stick - so much better than keypads

Works on a raspberry pi
While relatively light, the joystick doesn't click overly loud and the buttons seem sturdy enough for a while. Comes with a usb to usb-c adaptor and has a toggle switch for xjnput/dinput, meaning it has universal use so long as usb sockets are available. Excellent piece of kit. Would recommend for amatuer/starter arcade use.

Easy to mod and make even better
Own a few sticks but needed something a bit more portable that didn't break the bank, thought about the F300 and the 500 but thought for the price I'd give this ago seeing as I have a lot of spare sticks / gates and buttons from previous modding. Easy to take apart as all mayflash ones are, put in a Sanwa stick with a large kowal actuator and a 2lb spring followed by a Sanwa mesh ball top and set of Sanwa silent buttons then finished off by removing the plastic front sheet and putting on a carbon fibre one. Job done ! might add a bit more weight inside the base for stability (my personal choice) and a sheet of adhesive neoprene on the base for that non slip added extra. For a few extra £'s you can make this a nice little stick.

Immmpressive bang for buck
I am genuinely impressed with how this stick feels. In terms of similarly priced sticks, this one's miles ahead of the Hori Mini on ergonomics, weights, button and stick feel. Comparing it to the more expensive 8bit do arcade stick, the stick on the F101 feels more crisp, with quicker inputs. While the 8bit do had the software and wireless advantage, the F101's seems like a better package, given its price.

Great for emulation and modding
I bought one of these for emulation gaming didn't want anything overkill. The stick has a long travel but responsive but you may want to upgrade to sanwa or clone. The buttons are not quite sanwa standard but close. Plugged it in to my laptop with batocera and picked it up straight away so no worries there. All in all it's a good stick for casual gaming and really easy to mod 👍

Good budget arcade stick
I bought this arcade stick to play street fighter and it performs great. The sound of the joystick is satisfying and it moves smoothly.
