No issues. Works great
My old MacBook Pro's original SSD died so I bought this to resurrect it. It was easy to install and the Apple Recovery process worked a treat. My laptop is back.

Saved My MacBook — Fast, Spacious SSD Upgrade - READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!
I purchased this OSCOO 1TB NVMe SSD because my original drive failed, and my MacBook wouldn’t boot up — it was completely dead in the water. I figured I’d give this replacement a shot and also get an upgrade in storage and speed, and I’m so glad I did. PRO TIP: READ THE USER MANUAL! I almost returned the SSD because my MacBook didn’t recognize it at first. The manual’s instructions in Step 3 are PERFECT — you must follow every step. I initially missed the part in Disk Utility to show all devices, and you must select the SSD and erase it. Once I did that exactly as the manual outlined, my MacBook booted up perfectly, and now it feels like new — super fast and responsive. What I love about this SSD: Spacious 1TB storage — plenty of room for photos, videos, apps, and projects. Fast performance — PCIe Gen3.0 x4 offers smooth file transfers and app launches. Solid build quality — feels reliable and well-made, supporting TRIM and SMART for long-term durability. Bottom line: This SSD saved my MacBook and gave it a brand-new lease on life. Follow the manual carefully, and you’ll get a fast, spacious, and dependable upgrade that’s well worth it.

Speed Boost for My Old MacBook—Zero Frustration
Swapped in this OSCOO 512GB NVMe SSD and my 2015 MacBook Air practically flew out the door—it’s snappy as a newer model. Transfer speeds are legit up to 2100 MB/s, and apps load in a flash without freezing mid-task. Install was smooth, and it slotted right into my PCIe Gen 3 bay—didn't even need extra tools. If your older Mac's feeling sluggish, this SSD is the upgrade you’ve gotta try. Keep in mind, you need to have big sur or higher in order for the hard drive to be recognized. I didn't have the old hard drive, so had to install high sierra on a usb stick, then create a big sur USB installable media, then boot from that and it was recognized. I could then update to monterey.

Align it right when installing
This took quite a bit of effort to get the macBook Air a1466 to recognize. What I found is that the card allowed me to misalign it. After the first install, it wasn't recognized. I tried using the disk utility -> view, but no dice. I then re-openned the macBook, and then pulled the SSD back as far as the screw would allow and did my best to line it up straight. Then it was able to see the SSD. I was able to format it, and install macOS to it. The reason it didn't get the full 5 stars is that I had to jump through the hoops to make it work.
