Naked running belts + bottle = winning combo
Like other runners, I have countless water flasks, Camelbak, Hydrapak’s various models (including their easy fill version, hand-held version, etc). This new design is low/thin profile which is perfect for fitting two flasks into a Naked belt. That combo is great for trail running. And also good for road marathons - I’d rather skip the busy aid stations. The lock mechanism is a huge plus. When you put other bottles in a belt, pressure always squeezes the drinking valves causing annoying leaks. That doesn’t happen on this new design. The only compromise is that the bottle opening for refilling is considerable smaller. I have done a road race with these yet. So can’t speak to how fast/slow refilling would be from a typical water jug at a road race.
