Lids can be pretty hard to get off. The taste will depend on what you have in the freezer with them in my experience - because they are silicone and do absorb odor. They are a fun color and do produce nice large ice cubes though! Easy to fill and easy to pop out.

The silicone on the bottom of these is such a great idea, it makes removing the ice cubes from the trays SO easy every time. I like this size - just slightly larger than a standard cube but won't melt as fast in a drink. Also enough room for adding small pieces of fruit.

I just ordered these to replace a silicon tray that was worn out and leaking. I enjoy large ice cubes in cocktails and this fits the bill. The covers are nice so you can stack them or since it's winter, fill and put outside with the covers on to keep the squirrels out! They can get their own ice. Had about a week and seem very nice!

I've only had these for a day but I can already tell you they work perfectly! In my opinion, The lids are really only necessary if you want to stack them. I wanted bigger ice cubes because the small cubes always seem to melt quicker. These bigger cubes fit precisely into my 32oz water bottle wide mouth opening with no room to spare. I can fit 6 into the bottle and have cold water all day. So far I'm very pleased with these ice cube trays.

Great trays, love the size of these ice cubes - perfect to chuck one in a nice glass with a cheeky tequila, baileys, etc!!! Easy to pop the ice cubes out and doesn't spill on the way to the freezer!!!
