First things first: I love Coach bags. Their quality is top notch & their designs are timeless. I got my very first Coach bag for my birthday and I justified the expensive purse by declaring it would save money in the long run over buying cheap “bullseye” purses that had to be replaced every 6 months. I had no idea how right I was… 17 years later, that purse is still in my regular rotation and I still get complements on it.So fast forward to today. My company is requiring that everyone come into the office every other week. Boo. So I decided to do something nice for myself to get excited about going back to the office. And boy, this gorgeous carryall did the trick!When you open the Amazon box, the wonderful smell of quality leather wafts out, and you know you’re in for a treat.The bag itself is extremely well packaged with a lot of care so everything is in pristine condition. Every piece of metal is wrapped, every surface protected, every opening stuffed so it’s exactly perfect - no bends or folds, no collapsed or squashed leather.It’s a lovely rounded satchel shape that fits my 12” MacBookPro perfectly with plenty of room for files or notebooks and still zip up.The leather is soft and supple, just as you’d expect from Coach, and the craftsmanship is second to none.Metal feet on the bottom protect the leather from soils. An interior pocket snaps together to contain peripherals like the cord and mouse.The zipper is heavyweight and operates smoothly, and the handles are reinforced and durable. The removable crossbody strap feels strong and can be adjusted to your preferred length.This is a timeless, quality bag that will last a lifetime. And will look great for that lifetime!

I wanted to LOVE this bag. I watched videos; I looked at many pictures. The color is gorgeous. The texture is *chef’s kiss.* The quality is really great; the value is debatable. The size though… the size was too large for me. I really wanted it to work, but it was too large for an everyday bag for me. Then I tried to pack clothes in it to convince myself I’d use it as a weekender, and it was too small for that. Coach, please make the burnished navy color in a 28! This carryall is the perfect blend of a relaxed, unstructured style and the capacity needed for a busy workday. I love the design and overall style - the black leather is incredibly soft and drapes beautifully, and it's not stiff or boxy.Its generous size holds my laptop, a planner, and all my daily essentials with room to spare. The wide strap is comfortable on the shoulder, even when the bag is full. It's a good value for a high-quality leather tote that is both chic and incredibly practical.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this bag because of the quality of the hardware and leather Coach is known for and its beautiful design. This bag lives up to Coach's excellent reputation. Firstly, it comes SO well packaged. everything on the bag is protected from scratches or creases that could potentially happen in shipping. The straps and handles are all wrapped individually. The bag itself is stuffed and then wrapped to protect the leather. It also comes with a soft coach storage bag to protect it in your closet. The leather is smooth and feels nice to the touch. It is firm enough to hold its shape. It won't collapse when empty. Also, it does not seem like it would scratch very easily. (Sorry - I won't try to intentionally scratch it!) It has a flat base with protective feet so it won't fall over when you ut it down. It fits my 13 inch Mac well too which is nice that I don't need a separate computer bag and purse with this bag. It has a lot of room if you need to carry some extras and an interior pocket that snaps. I love that I can choose whether to use short handles or shoulder straps. This is an awesome bag for work. It is high quality understatedly elegant and so functional.
