Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was in the market to purchase a smoker that was easy to use and built with quality. Based on other reviews, I went with the Traeger Woodridge Pro. I was originally looking at the Timberline 850 but the Woodridge was a much better value for the money, and it has the most up to date features. Temperature control: With the Trager App, you can adjust the temperature without having to touch the smoker. The app is very user friendly, and it will turn any novice into a pit master in no time. Ease of assembly: What really impressed me was how easy it was to assemble. All you need is a 12 foot by 12-foot area and you can lay out all the pieces in order. The instructions are detailed, but easy to follow. Traeger provides the one screwdriver you need and the fasteners are coded so you know which one to use. They even provide extras just in case you need one down the road. Value for money: You get all the features of the more expensive Timberline series for a fraction of the price. Build quality: When you assemble the smoker, you can tell how much quality goes into each part.

Putting together is relatively easy, but would be easier with two people when attaching pellet box to body. Actually kind of fun to be honest. Love the ability to control, monitor and shut down from my phone. Thus far, no issues despite my trepidation where electronics are concerned and the mass production build quality aspect that I never worried about with my first Treager.

This is the smoker that you want. You must absolutely get the pro version or even the elite. The super smoke option is they must have. The bottom version does not have super smoke and does not smoke enough. I watched many YouTube reviews about this. I had originally ordered that one and luckily I was able to cancel it and order this pro version. I highly recommend buying all of the Traeger accessories although they’re very expensive. They are very high-quality very durable all very heavy. Definitely going to last. They also look nice with the grill. I highly recommend getting the front table. It adds a lot of space and to me feels weird that there is not One there to begin with. I believe they should include this with the grill. At any rate, this gets five stars hands-down the flavor is amazing. It’s so easy to use the temperature. Dial is dummy proof and I have not had a chance to clean it yet, but I’m sure that the ridiculously large brush they sent me is going to be adequate. Make sure you get the pro version and enjoy! …. Also make sure that you get assembly in room of your choice or you were going to be putting this together over a weekend by yourself. It has great instructions and a tutorial, but it took two Amazon drivers 45 minutes to put it together and they knew what to do without looking at the instructions.

This is my 3rd Traeger in ten years, upgraded from Pro 780. Nothing wrong with the 780, my son now uses it happily. It was a time to treat myself and could not be happier. Delivered and assembled in under a week on my patio.

Great grill and very easy to assemble. General functionality is nearly idiot proof with both the on grill controls and use through the Traeger app. The only problem I had was Amazon messing up the delivery and assembly. Amazon delivered the grill blocking in my driveway and never assembled the grill. I finally had to ask someone to help move the grill and assemble the grill myself. I kept this as five stars because the grill itself is great but the Amazon service was not.

UPDATED! See below original review. I've been vying for a Traeger for a while. Held off because the models I was most interested in were a bit out of the price range I was willing to expend. Then the Woodridge came along. All the features I wanted, and 1/2 the price. I could not complete the purchase fast enough. From my first cook, this smoker has performed awesome. Only negative I've found so far is the touch pad buttons are sometimes a bit finicky. Some others have pointed that out too. But the results once you get the smoker up and going are going to blow you away. I usually control mine via the smartphone app, though the smoker must be running before you can do that. Only option I missed out on from this cheaper version is the 2 layer cover to help hold in heat. But, I figure if it's that cold I probably don't want to bother smoking anyway. Update: Finally broke down to call Treager over a small issue that has bugged me. The ignite button on my grill has issues responding to touch. I often have to try to ignite the grill many times before it will finally sense my finger and take off. I contacted Treager support via text message on their web site, and the person was very nice, but talked only off a script that would have led me through many hours of video conferencing with them to prove the control button was not working as expected. After about an hour, I gave up on them. Seems Treager wants to bore you to death before allowing a replacement part to be shipped out. So, I still have a perfectly good Treager, other than the ignite button taking a dozen attempts before it will ignite. And a poor company support policy that refuses to use common sense. At this time I would no longer recommend this company's products.

This wood pellet BBQ grill works very well. The temperature control is good and the phone app is very convenient. Great for low and slow cooking and smoking meats. However, not great for steaks.

This smoker is a beast! Huge cooking area, super smoke option and keep warm option it’s a plus, i’m happy with the purchase
