Misspelled "Smyrna" at the Back of the Package
Excellent, although a bit tough to chew (too dry). Interestingly enough, the "Smyrna" figs was misspelled on the back of the package.

Very good taste and texture
Smyrna's are not my favorite figs. I usually avoid them, but it was all I was out of my favorites, and this is a trusted brand for me, so I figured I would just add it to my order and get some of my favorites later. These were amazing. Extremely tender for Smyrnas, and dried where the sugars leached out and created a slightly crunchy glaze on the outside. Really a treat. I will order these again.

Great in stuffing!!
I use these in making my holiday stuffing, along with green apples and lots of other ingredients. They're great for that.

I've bought all kinds of figs online and it's not easy to find delicious dried Smyrna figs. I see that the reviews for this brand are extremely mixed. Mine were dry and almost inedible. Also crystallized and hard as rocks. Maybe the season matters. If you buy them in the fall, you might be better off. I will try to make fig jam out of these. It's more of a sure thing when I purchase Black Mission figs online. They are usually soft, tasty, sweet and delicious. But not always. I once had to ask for a refund. They were spoiled.

pure fig but dried hard as a brick
They have no added ingredients, which I suppose is why they are mostly very hard and dry. Hard to bite into. They taste OK, probably get A+ for being only "fig" with no added oil, glycerin, whatever other people use to make figs soft, but the package says soft. They are not soft, at least the ones I got. So probably good for health but just not pleasant to eat. Probably better for cooking. About 1/3 of the pack I got were soft enough to bite into, they were nice. The other 2/3 would have to be softened by cooking or at least soaking

It’s organic, it’s figs, here’s the info below
Okay, these are the best brand I have tried, and for a darn good price where I stand. I admit, they look a little weird colored and almost like there is a dusty white thing on the outside, but it’s just naturally crystallized Sugar! I like to hold it by the stem and eat it. The texture is nice- inside it’s thick but not dried out or watery. Remember- this is ORGANIC, so you will get ones that might be a little sour or a slightly harder texture, but the bulk of them are fantastic. You also need to remember that the top and bottom little bits you see will be hard because the stem is there and the end where the flower was still has a little circle. The circle is often hard, so I nip that bit off and don’t eat the stem. But that’s me. Someone had given me the small bag Version of them as a gift. I was hooked thereafter. Great as a snack, resealable, and definitely worth at least trying.

Tasty
Tasty figs. They are the yellowish figs. They are moist and not too dry like a lot of dried fruit. The look kinda like mushrooms. Lol Have a nice smell to them and big.
