HEALTHY- JUICY
I LOVE THE CARMEL. People say greesy but its beef tallow, not bad seed oil, so Im 100% ok with that. The texture i also love. No sugar, its VERY DIFFERENT becauseIt is different= Healthy!!I dont like the other flavors so carmel for me .I am a carnivior and this is the best on the market.

Love the clean animal based ingredients. Ordered my 2nd box.
I have seen many mixed reviews on these, and it seems like you either like the flavor/texture or you don’t. I will say, if you’re only accustomed to highly processed, artificially sweetened, protein bars (which let’s be honest is most of what you’ll find on the market) you probably won’t like these because they are clean with real ingredients and only subtlety sweetened. I eat mostly single ingredient foods and dislike overly sweetened things, especially stevia/sucralose so I truly love the flavor and texture of these bars. The salted caramel is my favorite, I already ordered another box of that flavor. 2nd in line would be the cacao. I did not like the coffee flavor and wouldn’t buy it again. It wasn’t bad, just not my preference. It is also the softest of the 3 bars texture wise, so if you don’t like the chewy texture this may be the one for you. Which brings me to my next point:I noticed there is a slight bit of variation in texture/consistency bar to bar, which is completely normal because there are no preservatives. I’ve read a few reviews of people complaining of an oil residue on top and wondering what it is. Well, it’s beef tallow duh. I don’t see any issues with this. The cacao is the 2nd softest in texture after the coffee, and salted caramel is the chewiest. Personally I like to work for my food, and this is my favorite bar so I have no problem with it. Anyone who doesn’t typically use much jaw strength to chew their food may have an issue with this texture.Overall I would give these 4 instead of 5 stars because of the price. If they brought it down a bit I would stock up!

Clean but texture is interesting
The ingredients are super clean and I was interested in trying an animal based protein bar. The flavor was decent but the consistency was kind of odd — but what was not particularly appetizing was that they got kind of oily and you could tell there was beef flavor mixed in when they got warmed up.

Whey protein ingredient can affect the thyroid
I really liked these I liked the fact that they were made with grass fed beef and other organic ingredients however, I came across a very scientific article recently that whey protein has a very concerning effect on the thyroid reducing its effectiveness. These actually taste very good. Why not they have coconut oil and organic, honey. So I sent the company a copy of the article about the whey protein, but what I had to do to find their email took up so much of my time it was highly annoying. If you go to their website, there is no email and no telephone number. They have no customer service no one to talk about the product give feedback or ask questions. I take a lot of great supplements and health foods. I now have a golden rule and if a company is not accessible and makes you fill out a form in order to communicate with them without providing any other way to communicate, I'm done.I will not do business with them. I will not purchase their product. The AI on the product says that their email is eatprima.com. Nope that didn't work then it was info@prima customerserviceinc.com nope that didn't work either then I finally got their phone number after much looking for it on the web and every time I called, it said to leave a message and then it would give you options. I tried every single option and listen to music for what seem like forever and then the person you are trying to reach at this Ext is not available or their mailbox is full. There is absolutely no way to talk to anyone at this company that's how they want it so if that's how they want it I'm finished. I think I actually did them a favor sending them the scientific article on whey protein, and how it affects the thyroid because if they're interested, they will eliminate this ingredient. It's hard to find a healthy protein. Pea protein is all the rage in those protein powders however, what most people don't know is that peas are high in estrogen. No thank you same for soy hemp and others also high estrogen. Anyway, the company is impossible to get through to.They don't even give you an opportunity to leave a message. They don't even provide a phone number on their website. They don't even provide an email on the website. And then when you do finally find the number, they are not accepting calls therefore I would say avoid this protein bar as good as it looks because they have no respect for the customer. They need to fix their issues. I thought they had a winner here, but I have since changed my mind.

A well-balanced option for those looking for clean, high-fat fuel
This protein bar has a good taste and delivers a solid energy boost, making it an excellent choice for active lifestyles. The texture is rich, and while there's a slight oiliness due to the beef tallow, it adds to the bar’s overall flavor and satiating quality. A well-balanced option for those looking for clean, high-fat fuel.

Healthy ingredients
Great tasting protein bars. It did take me a couple of tries to get used to the texture because it is so different than most snack bars. The taste is really nice and it makes up for the texture being different. Oh and of course, the excellent ingredients actually make the bar healthy, which is great!

Quality control issues with packaging and freshness
I like having a protein bar around when I need a little extra fuel or boost my protein intake. I was hoping this one would fill the void. The first three box I received were ok. The taste is good (not great), so I continued to order more. Recently, it seems there have been some quality control issues. I had a box arrive where all the Prima protein bars were shrunken down/shorter in size and harder (more stale). I wondered if they had melted in shipping. This last box I received, every Prima bar inside the box has been unsealed on one end. I don't like that. I've also noticed they are extremely oily... a total oil slick inside the wrapper. I've canceled further orders. Maybe they need a little more time to get the product and packaging right. I'd like to give them a try again in the future if they can improve.
