Used for cooking, gives flavor for foods, also good for the body. Cheap buying a larger container.

Excellent product as always

We tend to cook a lot and we like to cook a lot of diverse foods. I'm not quite sure how you can compare different brands of the same spice since most are pretty much the same. I have only noticed a marked difference in a few select spices like chili powder and saffron. For most spices, however, the flavor (to me) seems pretty comparable. What I think sets this Turmeric powder apart from some others is that you can buy it at a much better price when you buy it in this format as opposed to a smaller grocery store offering. I don't know if the flavor will degrade with time, although I'm guessing that it will after a while depending on how it's stored (and which is a good argument for buying a smaller sized version even if it does cost more), but we go through it often enough where I don't think we've ever kept it around for over a year or so. We use it primarily in Indian dishes and in other preparations, sometimes just for color such as in Detroit style Coney Sauce (the OG of all Coney sauces). It's said to have some anti-inflammatory health benefits too so I guess that's good too.
