Bought to create a “blood” splatter effect for my son’s trick or treat bag and the color was perfect for what I was going for!

Worked real well, but the hot water completely destroyed my decades old gauze curtains. They were a lovely cherry red when they went in the trash. Not the dye's fault at all. Just complete misplaced hopefulness on my part.

Could not find this color anywhere around here. But be careful dye does color other clothing so wash by itself for a while or with dark colors.

I am making red MOP inlay material for banjo. Dyed some Easy Inlay in a mixture of 50% Red Rit Dye and 50% white vinegar for 18 hours. the pics show the results. Going for darker, so I read about Jacquard Basic red dry dye and will try that. I have some on order.

This was easy to use. I bought a 3 pound bucket from a store and did it in my kitchen sink with hot water. I did a cream linen dress that I wanted to die cherry red.

I dyed a white shirt that I wanted to be extremely red like Mario’s fire suit red. I thought it would immediately grab since the shirt was white but it was pink. By the second and third try it got to be a darker cherry red. It kept bleeding for months to come so I just ended up tossing the shirt. Value wasn’t there.

I used this to dye pinecone to use in making wreaths. As I expected, it gave the cones a subtle pink/red tint that adds interest to the evergreens. My daughter used what remained in tie dye and the color was brilliant and durable. So easy to use, functions as you expect from the trusted Rit brand, great value!

dyed a pair of vans, soles and all. easy to use, very bright color, didn’t fade after washing.

The dyeing process of the dress was smooth and went exactly according to the instructions. However, after wearing the dress, I put it in the wash—and that’s when disaster struck: the dress bled out all its color and reverted to its original shade. In the process, it also dyed all the other clothes in the washer. Luckily, the rest of the clothes were dark, but even so, everything now has a red tinge. :/ Total disaster. This never happened with the other dye color (Dy...) I usually use.

Turned everything pink ! And the instructions were followed! Always used rit powder in the past i dont rate this oroduct at alk it was a complete disappointment !
