I’ve been using the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Foaming Gel for a few weeks, and I’m really happy with the results. It deeply cleanses my skin, removes excess oil, and leaves it feeling fresh without over-drying. The gel has a lightweight texture and foams up nicely with just a small amount. I have oily, acne-prone skin, and this cleanser has helped reduce breakouts and control shine throughout the day. It’s also gentle enough for daily use and doesn’t irritate my sensitive areas. It was recommended that I use this moisturizer for a period of time for an allergic reaction. I had all over my face that resulted in blisters and very painful sores on my face. I have to tell you I was skeptical but within 2 to 3 days of using this and a specific toner, all of my wounds healed and my face stayed moisturized. It didn’t scab like I expected it to and it just healed so beautifully and now I use it as part of my daily regime it is super moisturizing, but has components in it for healing purposes so even when I pick out a pimple or even when I tweeze my eyebrows or I pick up some blackheads on my nose and I have a little bit of redness, I can put this on and within the next day it’s completely gone, the redness the irritation it’s crazy. This stuff is magic.

I love it, but the peroxide will stain your clothes and other items. Kept my acne under control. Smells like peroxide, worth the money for sure. Did not dry my skin but I’m oily so it’s hard for any product to dry me out.

I will start off by saying I have stubborn inflammatory cystic acne. I get very large cystic breakouts primarily on my cheeks and chin. Its hard to find any product that makes a difference. I got a sample of this face wash and after just a week of using it I had to order the full size. I saw improvement in my breakouts in just a few days. My skin typically responds very well to benzoyl peroxide, however, the addition of the LHA has made a big difference. I find the LHA makes my skin glowy and has already reduced the appearance of dark post-acne marks. My skin also tends to have some flaking from constantly using drying products and the LHA helps exfoliate that to give me smoother skin. Overall, I find this product very impressive.

I’ve been using this for a while, and it works wonders. If it was a little cheaper it would be perfect.

I'm very greatful for this. I've tried many things, even been to the dermatologist but this wash works, not overnight but you will see results after consistent use. I use it every other day alternating between the salicylic acid formula. I leave it on for about 30 sec or longer. There's no fragrance which is super helpful for me. I have no complaints, I hope they keep this around for a long time.

I worked at a derm office and tried samples of just about every name-brand product, Rx or OTC, for my adult acne. This is hands down the best spot treatment I’ve found. Can get rid of severe spots in a few days with daily use.It will definitely bleach clothing & towels, so I’d recommend using it at night with a light-colored pillowcase. But this seriously works. Look no further.
