Pay the extra and buy genuine
Worked fine for a few months, then packed up, random lights flashing so it’s not worth the risk, straight in the skip, bought a genuine one now.

Charges batteries
I treated myself to some new Makita tools but didn't want to pay Makita prices for the batteries and chargers, so I bought one of these and it works.

This product is useless it can only charge one battery and it takes hours .

Charges, not as solid a charge as an original unit, run time is noticeably lower. Still not bad for price
