Smooth and amazing straight too!! I was really surprised at the smooth taste of this I bought it as a mixer and I poured a glen full to try. It's even smooth enough to drink straight I love the colour and smell. Definitely a good pour for new and seasoned heads .4* all day

This is not my favourite bourbon. But for the price I paid for this on Black Friday this is worth buying in box fulls as it is amazing and especially for the price. This is the only whisky that has a budget price that is actually a very premium whisky. Next Black Friday I will be buying 3 bottles of this.

I found this to be a wonderful bourbon, it had everything I hoped for and probably a bit more. Don't get me wrong I've had better but in it's price range it can stand tall with the rest of 'em. Purchased on a deal so even more happy, this is one I'd happily revisit at some point. If you like Kentucky whiskey then you're sure to like this, trust me.

I have tried many great bourbons but when it comes to satisfaction and a welcoming taste and a heck of a good price this Welshmans bourbon is the one that I return to every time. Try it you will see what I mean.

I like bourbon and have tried most available to us. This is by far one of the best. Despite the high alcohol content it’s smooth with a great mellow taste. If it was cheaper I’d definitely buy it again.

Strong bourbon. Made the mistake of thinking it was the same strength as the ‘normal’ Evan Williams. Now treat it with respect.

I saw an American podcast review on this bourbon and it was pretty much a love hate situation. If you love strong sweet bourbons you will love it. If not stay away.

Rock solid, flavourful bourbon at a great price.

Evan Williams gilt in seinen verschiedenen Varianten schon lange als „Geheimtipp“. So geheim, dass jeder der sich mit Bourbon beschäftigt schnell drüber stolpert. Was bekommt man bei diesem Produkt? Einen für den Preis (im Regelfall zwischen 20-25€ zu bekommen) überaus soliden Bourbon, der vieles in diesem Preisbereich ausstechen kann und sich auch nicht vor manchen teureren zu verstecken braucht. Klasse für Cocktails und auch pur durchaus nicht zu verachten, wenn es um etwas preiswerteres für gelegentliches Nippen geht. Natürlich kein edler Tropfen der oberen Preisklasse, aber deutlich besser als die JD‘s und JB‘s etc. dieser Preisklasse. Für unerfahrene Personen welche durch die Prozente abgeschreckt werden: ja, der Alkoholgehalt ist deutlich höher als bei einer 40%igen Abfüllung, allerdings sind bei dadurch auch die ganzen Aromen erheblich weniger verwässert (üblicherweise kommen die meisten gereiften Schnäpse mit 60-70% aus einem Fass heraus, die Verdünnung auf 40% statt 50% ist somit erheblich stärker als sie auf den ersten Blick wirkt). Das Resultat ist dann in den meisten Fällen ein kräftiger Schnaps der allerdings geschmacklich oftmals deutlich angenehmer und intensiver ausfällt und bei dem das Alkoholaroma deutlich stärker in den Hintergrund tritt als bei denen mit niedrigeren Prozenten. Man trinkt also eine geringere Menge an Flüssigkeit, bekommt aber dafür im Verhältnis zum reinen Alkohol mehr Geschmack geboten (und kann zur Not auch selbst noch mit paar Tropfen Wasser oder nem Eiswürfel verdünnen, dabei erlebt man dann live mit wie stark sich der Geschmack bereits durch minimal stärkere Verdünnung verändern kann).

Der Evan Williams Bottled in Bond ist ein sehr guter und, gemessen an seiner hohen Qualität, preiswerter Bourbon Whiskey mit 100 Proof, also 50% Alkohol. Ich trinke ihn sehr gerne pur und ohne Eis. Es ist ein sehr klassischer Bourbon-Whiskey, der sich durch ein kräftiges und ausgewogenes Geschmacksprofil auszeichnet. Im Nosing sind deutliche Noten von Eiche, Vanille und Karamell zu erkennen, begleitet von sehr leichten Fruchtnuancen wie Apfel oder Birne. Im Geschmack zeigt er sich vollmundig und völlig harmonisch, mit typischen Bourbon-Aromen von Karamell, Vanille, braunem Zucker und Eiche, ergänzt durch eine dezente Würze. Der Abgang ist langanhaltend und weich, mit anhaltenden Eichennoten und einem Hauch von Gewürzen, wobei der Alkoholgehalt von 50 % (100 Proof) trotz seiner Stärke nicht brennt. Ein sehr leckerer und typischer Bourbon. Empfehlung

So eine Art "best bang for your buck" Bourbon. Sauber gemachtes Produkt, unschlagbar günstig, erwartet aber keine Tiefe, besondere Holz- oder gar Ledernoten. Es ist einfach ein super günstiger und ordentlicher Bourbon. Okay für pur, vermutlich sehr gut fürs Mixen.

AMAZING cheap bourbon. This gotta be the best cheap bourbon I've ever had. In my opinion, the best bourbons I've had that are affordable are Elijah Craig Barrel Proof (72 euro), Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Strength (70 euro) and this one Bottled-in-Bond for 26 euro. And I gotta say the Bottled-in-Bond blew my mind. I thought it was gonna taste like Knob Creek 9 or Woodford Select, but this bourbon is actually the best cheap bourbon in my opinion. Yup, these are my three favorite bourbons now. Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Strength Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Evan Williams Bottled-in-Bond I recommend trying these three if you love bourbon.
