Wonderful product, better than stock ride quality with stock springs.
High quality manufacturing, and decades of teaching pedigree reflects in these shocks. I'm really happy with how they perform on my 2004 Tundra SR5 Quad Cab. Improved the ride by making the truck handle better in any condition. Rock crawling, desert running, trail driving, and general road use slow and high speed. I definitely recommend them, especially if you're looking to raise the front end without creating suspension geometry issues. Worth the money, certainly more so than leveling pucks and you get new really good struts.

Good Quality & Nice Ride
The shocks are working well after 30k miles of use under my 2003 Tundra that’s used for daily driving and pulling my 19’ fiberglass BBC powered jet boat. The shock valving is nice, not too soft like a GM car and not too harsh like Old Man Emu shocks on anything from Jeeps to Toyota’s.

Probably a good quality rear shock; but no installation diagram for the 3 unique washers
Giving it 4 stars overall for the improved ride quality. Probably a good quality shock, but I was unhappy that no diagram was included for installation. I checked Bilstein's website and no useful instructions, so they get 2 stars for installation. The shock comes with 3 convex washers (and two rubber pieces) and all 3 are totally different. We had to guess which order to put them on. On top of that, the old rear shocks (had to cut off with torch) are hard to get off, although that has nothing to do with the new Bilstein shocks, it just made for a frustrating installation with these two problems.

it got a mutch harder ride than the yeller bil stiens but its so perrty n takes bumps like a champ -no offroad yet
i got 197,000 mi on my toyota tundra, never replaced the rear shocks-ever i actually brok the stock front shocks offraoding but they didnt actually breake breake till il let my dad use it to go down the st n i went to use it to see my truck as if i had air bags ,so i orderd 2 new yellow 1's from summit, and they are still kickin mule+hore-jack ...so i really wanted the 5100 but then they were brandnew at 130-140 but not mutch cheeper on amazon, but my brother found me some even cheeper than the sellers on amazon-autoplicity.com-but i still payd thrue amazon,i got 2 of theese for less than the listed price of 1 roughly 138 with tax n shipping so weet....but who knows they may be more now its all about the benji's for them its all about keeping the frankys & gorges in our pockets

Awesome!
I got my front shocks from a 4x4 shop and paid too much for them. I found the part # for these and got them through amazon for my rear shocks and saved over $60 total from what my shop wanted. good deal and incredible shock. I have a 2000 tundra trd and the 4x4 shop said these shocks were an upgrade from stock and better than most the other brands like skyjacker and rancho.. so far I think they are an upgrade to stock trd bilsteins.

Love them
Installed on a 2003 Toyota Tundra SR5, fits perfect. Will note to some that if you have an aftermarket shock already like fabtec you will need to purchase the original bolts to fit these, the fabtec bolts that I had were too large by just a bit. But if you have factory bolts and shocks you will have no problems. Also Had to purchase new springs since fabtec ones were too long, but that is on me. Great shocks so far, makes my truck ride smooth again.

I live in Northern Canada and drive gravel roads and highways 90% of the time. As for installation this is by far one of the more challening top ends to mount with little room for hands but can be accomplished from the rear wheel wells. You will need an allen key to hold the top end of the mount and I do recommend a ratcheding boxed end 17mm wrench. After installing these shocks I immediately hit the roads intentionally aiming at every pothole at 35-50 km/hr. Compared to the OEM toyota shocks i see a big difference in ride quality. The shocks absorbed the potholes not feeling like they were bottoming out or bouncing. This is my initial review and will check back later to give another after highway speed loaded and empty testing. Thanks The Shock absorbers continue to hold up however the rubber boot did not survive the cold harsh winter. Thanks
