This Cascade dishwasher detergent works really well and lasts much longer than I expected. A little goes a long way, especially if you’re using a countertop dishwasher. I’ve noticed my dishes come out clean, with no residue or leftover food particles. It handles everyday loads easily, including plates, glasses, and utensils. I also appreciate that it doesn’t leave a strong chemical smell behind.If you have a smaller dishwasher, like a countertop model, this detergent can last you months because you don’t need to use as much per cycle. That makes it a great value for the price.Overall, very effective and worth it.

I typically run my dishwasher once a day, and since switching to this formula, my expectations for "clean" have been completely redefined. The cleaning power is incredible. I rarely pre-rinse—we’re talking baked-on oatmeal, dried-up lasagna, and cloudy coffee mugs—and this gel tackles it all. My dishwasher pods weren’t fully dissolving half the time, so I switched to gel. Fully dissolves, my dishes are clean, and I don’t see any residue. Cheaper than pods too. I’m happy.

I’ve been using for a year. It generally gets my dishes clean, but sometimes I have to pre-rinse really tough baked-on stuff. I like the citrus breeze scent - it’s pleasant and not overpowering. The bottle lasts a long time. Overall works well enough.

Not all dishwasher detergents are the same. Most get the dishes clean. This product does more; it gets plastics clean because it has Dawn in it. It also dries plastics, which makes unloading the dishwasher less of a chore. I like the liquid formulation better than the pods because it dissolves immediately from the overload tray and dispenses again after the pre-rinse cycle. Also, I can use more or less, depending on the size of the load. It is supposed to have a citrus scent, but I don't smell anything which is fine with me.

This review is for Cascade Complete Gel + Oxi with Dawn Liquid Dishwasher Detergent, 125 fl. oz. I have been using a few different versions of Cascade liquid dishwasher detergents over the years. I have only used Cascade liquid dishwasher detergent ever since getting a GE dishwasher with Smart Dispense. This version of Cascade has been the best one yet. I have not had any issues with dishes coming out clean. I use it with Cascade Rinse Aid Platinum. Side note for GE Smart Dispense users. Make sure if change to a different detergent that you follow the steps to completely purge your Smart Dispense system. This goes for anything that is different about the detergent, such as brand, scent, Oxi, Dawn, anything.
