I bought a six pack of these mini propagators three years ago. After three seasons use they are still in perfect condition. They are sturdy and I like that I can see roots developing through the clear inserts, so it’s easy to tell when the seedlings need potting up. Three propagators fit nicely on my heated pad. They are also a perfect size for a window ledge once the seeds have germinated.This pack of five seems to be an upgrade to the original design. The trays and inserts are identical so I am confident they will last well. The lids are interchangeable but for this set they are significantly taller. That’s ideal as my tomato seedlings quickly outgrew the older shorter ones.The lights are great for providing illumination from directly overhead. Relying on natural light on a window ledge the seedlings bend towards the window and I have to keep turning them to try and keep the stems relatively straight. The wires are relatively short, but quite adequate. I use a plug board so that I can set them up wherever I want, without needing to be close to a power socket.The little tools are incredibly useful for handling small seedlings when transplanting. I use them all the time so it’s great to have a second set.

Really well designed, compact propagators. Courgette and cucumber seeds germinated within 3-4 days so probably twice as quickly as usual, using the LED lights. Excellent buy.

Nice set of kit but does not come with heat map as stated in the headline product's description so need to buy that separately now which is annoying

Great set for waking up your seeds and encouraging them to grow. We teamed in up with a heat mat and our seedlings are thriving!!

This is the worse germinating tray I have ever used. My tomato seed, kale sawan over a month ago and non germinated desite using several seeds. Pea started to germinate but then decided to die out with a couple of days. The room I have used is the same as before. The seeds I have used all had germinated before. The only thing different is the trays. Total waste my money and wasted a available sawing season.
