The odd one in the group.
Slingshot is a great character and figure. Major upgrade from the combiner wars version. In fact, all the Aerialbots from the Age of the Primes are a major upgrade from the Combiner Wars series.Slingshot always stood out, because of his head. Unlike his teammates, his head is orange and or is odd. The character, in the show, was outspoken and got himself into trouble many times. The toy itself is great, easy to turn from robot to vehicle and back. Honestly, I didn't have to look at the instructions to figure it out.The only complaint about the toy is the feet. If you notice, the feet are longer than the other toys in this group. Why didn't Hasbro address this when they designed it? Though, it helps the figure stand without issues, but sometimes it can hamper if you want to pose in a variety of ways. For the price, it's acceptable. If the tariffs hadn't existed, this figure probably would be anywhere from $14 to $19. I recommend buying it from Amazon rather than picking it up at the stores.Anyway, I hope to get all the toys in the series to combine into Superion.

One of the best Jet transformers figures
The head is ugly but the posing and jet look great. You can’t even tell the jet transforms and the transformation is simple.

Slingshot'ing his way into your collection
Slingshot is a fantastic modern-version of the classic toy from 1985/1986. The robot mode may feel "bland" but it is accurate to its animation model from the original animated series. Transformation is slightly more intuitive than you would think out of the package, and the jet mode is fantastic. Highly recommend. Required to form "Superion".

Fun, but flawed figure of a favourite flying fellow
Excuse that horrible alliteration in the title… anyway, AOTP is bringing back the Aerialbots, which is awesome. Though, as tends to be the case with jet-formers, there is a fair bit of compromise. Slingshot’s main Achilles heel is his rather stubby, thin arms. Though a double-jointed elbow is always appreciated, it’s difficult to get a whole lot out of them, especially taking into account the fact he suffers from a severe case of “Triggerhappy Shoulders”, meaning that the outward movement of his arms places the shoulder joint on top of his torso. Not exactly ideal, and also not exactly necessary, seeing as he has no shoulder-topping parts that would block a traditional joint. Bot mode also isn’t helped by his enormous feet, though that does give him a very stable stance. But, I can hardly complain that much when his transformation is as enjoyable as it is. Though, once again, the Harrier mode leaves a little bit to be desired, as it is far more blocky than the real thing. But it’s animation accurate, so, while not my preference, I’m fine with it. Very excited for the rest of the set, even if Fireflight and Skydive are just retools…

Great
Great Slingshot figure. Quick and easy to transform. Only issue is the lack of plastic. Sure it comes with 2 weapons, but some additional accessories like effects would be nice.
