No issues, good unit
No problems so far. I've ran about 70 pounds of ice through it so far. I have packed away two bags in the chest freezer. Once turned on it's making ice in about 6 minutes and will fill the ice drawer in about an hour. I tranfer this to my upright freezer until the ice bucket is full then turn the unit off. The only issue is the ice is kinda wet so it freezes into a block easily. I place if from the maker into a gallon ziplock then into the freezer. Then I pull and break it up before placing into the ice container in the upright freezer. The drain plug in the bottom of the unit is a big plus to drain the water in the bottom from the thawing ice.

Skip this one.
I have to admit, it works, as in it makes ice. It's also not terribly loud. You turn it on with a button, and stop it by pressing the same button once you are done making ice. The ice melts regardless of whether it is on or not, so there is no reason to have the machine on if you are not needing ice. That part probably wouldn't be so terrible, but. One thing that annoys the crap out of me regarding the melted ice. It does not provide a good way to drain the melt water. Per the instructions you physically have to pull the whole unit (not the lightest thing) off the counter top a few inches, remove a rubber drain plug from the bottom of the unit (mostly by feel) and let it drain into a bucket, and yes, its messy. This is just a ass-stupid design. They could have at least provided a removable tray, or built something better into the ice tray. The ice tray doesn't' even drain completely, so when you get near the bottom of the ice tray there is always a little melt water. The unit does have a removable drip tray, but it is pretty useless. It doesn't even attach to anything, just loosely sits on the counter where it is easily knocked aside. It's difficult removing the melt water without making a mess. Filling the reservoir is not exactly the cleanest process either, again thanks to the design. Speaking of design, a built in clock timer, like what is common with coffee pots and other small appliances would have been appreciated, but no such feature on this one. Anyway, I don't hate it enough to return it, though I rarely return anything. The product does what it advertises, it makes ice. The brainiac engineers really could have thought this one out a little better. I don't think I will be buying any more products from this brand..

As good as the more expensive brands
I got in on a "kickstarter" type campaign many years ago for a nugget ice maker and since that time that model was acquired by a big mfg company. I purchased it a high price but much lower than when it was released and what it costs now and I could not justify the expense for ice. It started having issues and stopped making ice so after some research I took a chance on this maker (since there were several negative reviews) and I must say I'm very satisfied. I use it to make my mixed cocktails on the weekend and it's very easy to operate. And I appreciate the cleaning instructions since I know that it's very important to properly clean these types of machines. It makes more than enough ice and is VERY fast from power 'on' to ice in the bucket. I like the small nuggets (sonic-ice or hospital ice depending on where you're from) to help put in my shaker for my drinks. The footprint is smaller than my prior model however it is a little loud when it's running/making ice. I've been using it now for a few months so this isn't a review done a few weeks after getting it.

Works quick!
Easy set up! Great ice. Works so well. Using filtered water, easy to fill with water and makes ice quickly.

Failed within 4 months! They want me to pay to ship it back! Unbelievable!
Review of Frigidaire Ice Maker: I purchased this unit in April, and by August it had already failed. While it produced decent ice, it never came close to the advertised capacity, though it did make enough for light use. Unfortunately, the design is flawed. Every time the drawer is opened, water leaks out. The “solution” provided was a small tray meant to catch the water, but since the water spills to the sides rather than the front, the tray is essentially useless. The warranty service has also been very disappointing. Although the representatives were polite, the process was inefficient and frustrating. After completing their requirements (photos, receipt, personal information, etc.), I called back two days later because they rejected the photos, could not view the video I sent, and were unable to open either the audio file or the PDF of my receipt. They asked me to resend everything and admitted they would not have followed up for several more days if I had not called. Their own phone greeting warns against abusive language, which makes sense now—I can see how customers could become very frustrated with the process. The unit itself failed due to what appears to be bad bearings in the compressor or fan. Since it stopped producing ice altogether, I suspect the compressor. Overall, we are very disappointed in the quality. Frigidaire once had a reputation for dependable appliances, but this experience has convinced us that the brand is not what it used to be. Edit: After 11 email messages and three phone calls the company now wants me to send the unit back to them and for me to be responsible for packaging the unit and shipping it to them! Unbelievable that I paid $189.00 for this item and they want me to pay for shipping their defective product back to them. Again, I cannot stress enough that you do not want to purchase this ice maker!

Good quality
Works great and is not very loud. Ice does tend to clump together when it melts a little. Only gave 4 stars cause the label is not straight.

Came Exactly perfect as described 🥳
This ice machine I bought my wife for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. It was at the top of her wish list and she was so surprised, getting to enjoy that chewy type of ice that she loves and has wanted at home for years. Top notch quality, delivering verbatim as it was described in detail as the product it is especially being a Frigidaire! 🤝
