Q: Does this come with a remote control?

No remote control. The unit is small but very appealing. The controls on the unit are simple to use and allows for heat control. It really heats up our town home quickly. Nice unit. Very pleased.

Q: What country was this product made in?

I think it is made in China. I did not end up keeping it, because it smelled like it was burning up when I tested it out. Not just burning off residue, it smelled like it was burning up.

Q: Could I use it on a screened in porch

Yes you can, as long as you have electricity. However all the heat will go out through the screen.
