What is the difference between laminated and paper?

Paper finish is a map printed on paper, laminated is printed on paper then sealed with a protective lamination which makes the finish appear more like a poster. I hope this helps.

Is the writing on this clear & easy to read?

Yes, it is clear and easy to read. A beautiful map. Tears more easily than expected so we've just put it on the wall. Our purpose was to support 8th grade geography, and it has been great for the big picture.

My grandson loves to travel and see where he’s been on the map. This map is large, easy to read and very detailed. It comes packaged nicely, rolled and inside a tube. It was delivered really quickly.Con: since it isn’t framed, it might be hard to hang on the wall and it hold up well.
