They’re great, look great for the price. They’re easy to install as long you know to wire. Not an obnoxious size for how bright they are. Still got 4 more to install.

The unique thing about this set is that the light panels are offset from the middle outward. This allows the light to cover more area from side to side. They should be mounted lengthwise in the fenderwell to provide as much coverage as necessary. Which brings us to the big qualifying factor - the amount of illumination. The lights are not described in lumens of light output, only that the tint is "pure white." The amount of illumination is totally subjective. The design is for rock climbing or off road use, allowing you to see the surface you are trying to crawl over or bog through with some clarity. In the late 70's I saw the use for just such a light under my 77 Ford f250 4WD Pickup. Then we had limited rugged enough lights for this application and I ended up using 2 rough service tractor lights. I bolted them to the frame and pointed them downward. I took a pretty good ribbing when people questioned why I even needed them. Fast forward 50 years and look what is all the rage! But today they see more use as bling and attention getters than rock crawl or mudder assists. That being said, these lights are stout aluminum. Watertight (yes, water will go anywhere and everywhere when kicked up by your tires), and flat on the bottom and domed on the top. The screw holes are designed and manufactured in so even the non-mechanically inclined person can successfully install them. The outer glass or polycarbonate has a textured finish on them. That is a very well thought out design feature that will allow the lights to shed water and mud and stay functional and clean for a longer time. The wires from the light to your power source and ground are hefty. The LED light pods actually are low current drain so the wiring and your battery should handle them nicely. I highly recommend using a inline fuse before you get to the power source. There are 4 light pods in this set. That is of course, one for each wheel well. Or, one for each corner of the chassis. When I'm off road I want to see as much under me as possible so simply lighting up my tires isn't really a benefit to me. These lights are bright enough and sturdy enough to handle that.

Good size and brightness but the don’t provide screws for flush plastic mount. The have bolt and nut … but on my bumper I have no access to the backs so how am I expected to put a nut on it ….. come on

Needed some additional white light in one of my enclosed trailer projects and have used rock lights in the past to achieve this objective. On my quest to find the perfect set, I came across these. Here are my thoughts: The lights arrived quickly and were well packaged. They include all the necessary hardware to mount, plus they include a thick set of rubber gaskets and wire extensions. The instructions are well translated and read easily. One thing that intrigued me about this design was the angle of the PCBs inside the housing which gives a wider angle for light. Additionally, the all-aluminum housing is NICE. Traditionally I try to stay away from plastic because over time if they are mounted in the weather, they fail and end up needing to be replaced. In this case, the lights will be inside the interior of a trailer so I do not anticipate that to be an issue. In testing, they really throw a lot of light. Not so bright that it would be uncomfortable, but it is definitely bright enough that you do not want to stare directly at it. As you can see, they are mounted to the ceiling. One thing to note is the mounting holes. They are a tight 1/8-inch. It is actually metric in nature, but I had no intention of tapping 8 holes overhead. I say this because you would be hard pressed to find a self-tapping screw that is not only small enough in diameter but also long enough to reach through and have enough real estate to grab what you are mounting too. So, in my case, I used 1/8-inch pop-rivets. Worked wonderfully. Highly, highly recommend!!

This is a really nice and complete set of pure white rock lights. I installed these on my Land-Rover, and they really light up everything under and around the truck. - 12V - A very complete set, with good quality connectors and cables - decently long cables, they will fit a Jeep-sized vehicle with no problem - These are really bright and white - Decent angle of illumination - Tough housing made from aluminium alloy - Did I mention how bright they are? Just wow! they light up everything! - Usable for many other 12V applications, for example inside a camper or RV Bottom line: A good set of durable and super-bright white LED rock lights.
