What is the warranty on these batteries. I bought one in August 2021, and one year one month later, it won't charge and is completely dead.

Hello, Thank you for the query. The warranty for our DIY & Garden batteries is a fixed 12 months and this can be claimed provided you have access to a copy of your proof of purchase. In your case I would suggest contacting us direct and we will look in to what we can offer for you given that it sounds as though the warranty may have recently expired. The NiCd battery system which our AHS 52 ACCU uses has unfortunately been discontinued a number of years ago and as such there are no official suppliers which would still have new stock of these items that we are aware of. If however you can find a listing then any batteries must be 14.4V NiCd and manufactured by Bosch but there are no restrictions beyond this. Best regards, Robert Bosch Power Tools

Is this suitable for Bosch Cordless Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner AdvancedVac 18V-8 ?what the run time of this battery ? Please help

Hello, Thank you for the query. The AdvancedVac 18V-8 is compatible with any of our PBA 18V batteries, including the 4.0Ah option in question. With this battery we would expect you to achieve 24 minutes of run time in Eco mode however this can be extended by opting for the larger capacity of either our 5.0Ah or 6.0Ah options. Good battery - at a bargain price when I bought it.

Was looking for an extra battery for my Bosch green diy tools, usually they are extremely expensive, camelcamelcamel told me I had missed the 2.5AHr at 20 gbp for most of June, so when it went down to 24 gbp again on 14 Aug I jumped at the chance. Was slightly suspect that this deal might be for "old stock", but no I was sent a proper Bosch battery, made in Hungary 05/2025, via official UK importer (according to the info etched on - see photo). It also has a red button to press to see state of charge via a row of 4 LED's. So far has been fully charged, used intermittently for a couple of hours on my hedge cutter, now down to half charge, all seems great! I prefer the smaller batteries as they are smaller and lighter weight, and still last a surprisingly long time for diy use.

Great battery pack

Got this one as a spare for my wireless Bosch vacuum cleaner and it perfect for the job. It can be used across all other Bosch wireless tools so it's good fit for the maintenance kit.

Bosch battery replacement

Very good product as usual . I could not give it 5 stars as you cannot use the older type battery charger with it, luckily I had a new charger that I had forgotten about. Good value for money.

Great battery if you are in the Bosch Home ecosystem

This is a very good battery, it has a higher capacity than my older 1.5 ah battery, the only thing for me was I needed to buy a new faster charger but that was a nice upgrade from the old one, it charges much faster. The size of the battery is flatter which means when using it with the drill it stands a lot more securely.

Battery for Bosch tools

I find the battery a little awkward to slot in compared to some other brands I use. The 2.5Ah is thankfully, quite lightweight to use. There are no level indicators on this particular model. Quite an inexpensive battery compared to some other brands.
